Them hot Summer Days

OK, I read the first post and already have an issue.

Like you, I've got indoor and outdoor crops BUT there's no way I'm putting my indoor plants outside to get some sun!
There are bugs outside. LOTS of bugs.
And it won't take them long to find your plants.
Then you bring them inside?
Oh hell no!
Not without hosing them down with mighty wash or something similar...

I think you've shown remarkable restraint.

Fuck, now I'm going to have to read this entire thread to figure out what he's saying about watering... :?

There were actually a few miscommunications here. I wasn't trying to beat him down TBH. I was just trying to tell him that watering is not a one size fits all. He just felt the need to continue with me. At first I thought he was trolling.....but nope he a legit grower it seems. I just don't think he has any business giving info on stuff he clearly hasn't fully sorted out himself. I'm not the best grower by a long shot. I can get a few plants to flower usually. I was actually helping the other dude figure out his over watering issues recently and OP was talking about how he kept his soil moist. Which may work for him.....but the guy he was saying that to would have dead plants listening to that advice. Pretty much sums it up.....it's a good read I'm sure.

Dude, I'm trying to be impartial.
If you'd get that chip off your shoulder, you might actually learn something by the time this is all over...
Ain't nobody got chip yo came on here side ways too trying be Mr joker and talk indirect shit but I do still appreciate you being in the middle and giving me credit on my training

Lol can't get mad at that joke not experienced of have the right equipment for cloning but my other clone fr the same plant cut at the same time is doing better then that one it was late and producing roots so just through it n soil

That's a way better attitude/approach towards things. Now what is your watering issue/situation. I honestly don't mind giving suggestions. I enjoy growing it's been my hobbie for a very long time. Why are you having to give small amounts of water everyday? Why don't you just water thoroughly?

Your one plant looks decent to me man. It’s just that little one looks weird. I mean I’m new so my opinion doesn’t mean much. Didn’t want you to think I was trying to cyber bully you or anything.
Never can I be bullied y'all not really tripping off y'all just speaking my mind but thanks for the credit

That's what I'm trying to get you to understand I don't do it everyday it's only when you feel your soil is too dry and it's burning hot outside I still do my waterings like 2 to 3 days or 4 even more if I do give it a lil water on a hot day like u said too scared to over water

We really are trying to help.
As far as watering goes, you actually want the top layer of soil to dry out as soon as possible because wet soil attracts fungus gnats and other pests -- especially if you top-dress with organic nutes.
Some people even use large trays and water from the bottom up to keep the top relatively dry.

Also, why are you running your lights during the day?

No liquid nutes just the water from the bottom of my 55 Gallon fish tank and I work at night so like to see my plants so I can work on them and because some days I put them outside in the morning when the sun right in my back yard

Your argument is totally valid. I didn’t want him to think I was being a dick. I just found the pic funny.
It was the first clone I cut and kept the stem to long but I agree cause it's ugly to me too that's y I didn't get mad when he said something about it but that's just one of the clone I cut I got another that doing better already have 2 to 3 new nodes

I honestly couldn't understand WTF you were trying to say. All I seen you saying was keeping the soil moist, and telling the other dude your plant does good with constantly moist soil....at one point you said something about it being half dry and half moist..... let's just put it this way I was seriously confused at your approach to trying to explain.

In my experience pot size had a lot to do with how much we water in hot climates. Obviously a big plant in a small pot will need more water more often than a plant in a proper sized pot. Over watering is the biggest issue for most new growers. That's why when I saw you saying moist soil is good I jumped in to give my opinion. That info would literally kill most peoples plants here if they listened. I'm not saying your a new grower or trying to give people bad advice. Like I said multiple times I think your intentions are good. Further more big plants in small pots outdoors can actually need water daily. That's not the ideal way to do things obviously. Most people will pot their plants up when they start having to water so often. So between you saying you give drinks to your plants to keep things moist and then saying cold water makes bud more potent. I honestly didn't know wtf to think. Then you didn't give any info about your plants or grow until we traded all those posts back and forth. If I may. I suggest next time you post lots of info and make it very clear what you're trying to say. I can agree to disagree.....but I honestly don't even know what to believe in this thread anymore ....lol
