Cooper12's THC Bomb flowering at 37S NZ
Looks like it will be done sometime in feb, pretty fast strain. My plants won't even show hairs until late feb.
Nice plants mate, how dry is it over there at the moment?. Good rains over here and lots of sun too, I have 2 Malawi clones and 3 Panama seed plants put out early december.
They're about 5-6ft tall now and still have 3 weeks of veg left at least. Cool summer in NZ this year, but the plants are growing just as good as any other season. Is the heat stressing your plant at all? 40 is pretty high. Can't wait to see your plants in flower mate, is the thc bomb flowering yet? they are in NZ.
cheers mate. Its pretty dry been a stinking hot summer, I've been away for the last month though so have missed the heat waves although theres another right now, it topped 43 today. Too hot to leave the house! Hope it starts too cool down soon. Nothing flowering as of yet should be on par with yours in like 3 weeks time. The malawi is definitely on my to grow list. Check out mohicans malawi from last year if you haven't already its that sick! good luck with the rest of your grow mate!
I reckon you're better off growing Malawis with that heat lol, we're getting like 23-26 degree days with no clouds in sight at the moment - I'm loving this season.
What's your latitude mate? Yeah I might top mine or they might get too tall, 6 ft plants can turn into 15 ft plants easily over here 20 ft on a full season. not too keen on massive plants with laws like ours. Go with Ace's Malawi if you do end up growing them, biggest yield potential I've seen a cannabis plant!. Mohicans Malawi was amazing along with the Mulanje too.
Thanks mate and good luck to you too, Have you grown any long flower strains outside over there? I would if I had your temps.
Wow that's some good looking hash, I like people who use the whole plant.
What's the genetics of the Laughing buddha? was it an uplifting laughy sativa?
or destroying like a Malawi?. Nothing beats outdoor sativa.
I'm hoping on a good few pounds too, Hopefully the Malawi finishes off properly in my climate. Do you have any bugs? seems to be quite a few of here.
The laughing buddhas genetics are thai and jamaican I'm pretty sure. It was a beautiful smoke very uplifting sativa high. I take it the malawi is a proper psychedelic sativa high? how many weeks does the malawi take to finish? definitely will look into it next season, could probably go 14-15 weeks here depending on the weather off course, could have last season anyway. Absolutely spewing i changed my soil mix this year and brought in gnats and root aphids, plants should be double there size at least. Live and learn, always learning in this game .
Hey nugs hows it goin? Roughly what date did the laughing buddhas finish? Im going to run a few of them next year maybe.
Most of my plants have started flowering now and iv ripped a couple of hermies ,
a couple of my nevilles hazes are just just over 3 metres and just starting to flower , cant wait to see them in another 14 weeks!
And i snapped a few pics , il put them up in my thread when im over a mates place with internet as i only have my phone
bit late on updating this thread. Everything curing in jars for a month or more, ended up pulling about 15 oz's or so of each plant, lost a bit to mould and worms. This year was full of problems from the get go but was another learning curve. The critical kush was good smoke but the Thc bomb was a below average strain, between me and my mates who grow there was 3 thc bombs and all were rubbish and 5 critical kushs and all were great tasting and smelling with a nice high. Over the last week i have been buying components to set up a small grow room with 2 X 400W HID lights and try my hand at hydro over the winter months. Will be doing a thread in the indoor section shortly. Here are some pics in no particular order.
Cheers TheNugget[/QUOTE G'day nugs Aussie lad here wouldn't mind doing critical kush on your exp with it last summer can I ask what seed company it's from ? Also without sounding nosey the plants along the shed were they morning sun or arvo sun mostly cheers man
