Im thinking of using a coleman 40 qt electric ice chest as my res due to problems keeping my temps down...can it b done? with a couple modifications i think it would work. wat do u guys think. I have a five bucket dwc system and thinking of changing out my res bucket for the thermoelectric ice chest...thanks

Do you plan on using it to cool down water and control temps that way. I'm not quite sure how you plan to use it. Can you elaborate a bit please? I'm interested in this...
