Aight so this is my second time growing; the first time ended with my plants just mysteriously dying. At the time I had one 3week old plant under only a 11w florescent bulb. Now I have two clamp lights with connector peices so that there are 3 bulbs for each lamp. One 26w bulb on each lamp and two 11w bulbs on each lamp. Also I have a 120w florescent tube. I am wondering if all of these is enough for 2 or 3 plants; or if I shouldn't use them all. Thanks and please hurry im eager to plant;-):leaf:

that would be gould if you want to spend 3 months time for about 10 grams..you need bigger lights and a good evironment for your ploant to grow good..

yeh, you need more. youre using 222w (if i added up corrrectly) why not get a 250w hps for 28w more

3 plants, get a 400 HPS. The amount of time and hassle you will ahve with those CFL's is not worth it. Get an HID light and forget about it. Use some CFL for below canopy supplementary light.
If heat is an issue, at least get 2 105 W CFL's for your canopy, and those little ones for lights around the plants.....

You could veg 3-4 plants with those lights it will just take a bit longer. But for flower get at least a 250watt hps. I use cfls for vegging and it works fine then i got a 400watthps for flower. Cfl's for flowering is just a waste of time in my opinion unless you get a shit load.

if you want good lights and good customer service in the states htg supply is the place to go..Prices are good to 400 watt hps for 119.

go to google and in the search bar type in htg supply.com. it will tell you everything you need to know.Home depot,lowes sell hps and mh security lights you can use them for plants but why not get plant lights for plants

i never used the security lights before but people say they work..Honestly ordering off the internet is safe if someone is recommending it to you.But if you feel likw that than just pack up your room with a bunch of cfls.

i desperately want to buy a hps for my next grow, but i think heat will be a big issue as i grow in a small tent 2' x 2' x 4.5'
