My tolerance is now more potent than any bud on the planet, and now, this!

I'm a lightweight. I did one toke on some of the really potent stuff and it was the stuff of high comedy. Got up to get a drink of water and forgot what I was there for while standing at the sink.

So, yeah, I don't do that any more. Why I should try to stop somebody else from it is beyond me.

They tried this with beer. Some places still do. It's kind of stupid and typical of the douchebaggery much of this country considers virtuous.

That being said, my personal preference is that I have no interest in the higher and higher concentrations being produced. I prefer old-timey hashish to any concentrate produced here. It's the difference between enjoying a nice wine and it's terroir versus shoving a tampon soaked in grain alcohol up yer butt.

Kids today have a different opinion, but they will eventually grow up.

It's very important to control your own tolerance. No matter how high the thc percentage, if you use it on the regular, you will grow tolerant to it. In the end, this is why thc percentage is an almost meaningless statistic. How high you get is dependent on the individual user, not the power of the bud.

Habit blunts the edge of pleasure, this is especially true with cannabis. Use it how you want, but if you just have a few bowlfuls on the weekend, you'll get higher than a chronic smoking a bag of primo bud a day, or someone vaping a gram of shatter. A rule of thumb might be, if you no longer get the munchies, then yer smoking too much and are due for a reset. To each his own though, but after a spell of abstinence, a few puffs of good bud will fuck you up pretty good and make you munch your head off, that's just a fact. Shit, even ditch weed will get you pretty high, if you haven't smoked for a spell.

For those who wanna rest, after the first day it gets much easier, if yer chronic there's a tranquilizer effect for a couple of weeks and it lasts until yer appetite returns. That was my experience when I used to smoke it chronically, when you have pounds of it laying around, it's easy to develop a habit. Right now I've got about 3/4 of a pound of near 30% white widow in the cupboard and I haven't smoke a thing in a month and don't plan on smoking anything any time soon.

I've stopped the indoor grow except for some clones that are going in the backyard this summer and will most likely be given away. I'll run a cannabis U pick for some friends, they can have it, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna harvest and trim it for them!

THC isn’t everything in good bud. My favourite strain is probably no more than 18%. Conversely, I’ve had supposed 30% bud that I didn’t particularly like.

I don’t understand why there needs to be a cap as long as the THC level is posted. From an economics point of view, if an industrial grower has a great crop and it tests over the cap, what do you do with the harvest?

I say it should be burned.

I think before they do anything, they should study if it even really matters.

The ban on schools that receive federal funds from being able to research it has killed all the great science that we would actually know about it.

It is so random what is actually known about how things are tested.

And unless they tested any particular plants cola's on all the branches individually, I'm guessing would end up with a lot of variability. I am happy to be schooled by any of you all though on this, because I am pretty sure I am talking out of my ass even though I have a good amount of experience in this(but not commercially/testing).

I think it is more bullshit trolling to trigger the libs into freaking out about it and ailenating grandma and grandpa who think it is still the devil's weed. More culture war shit.

Agreed.

If you need greater than 20% you have a problem of some kind.

I'd rather enjoy a refined glass of 80 proof Glenfiddich scotch than hork down 200 proof Everclear.
