This is the end result of trying to knuckle a branch, damaged it and couldn't repair it quickly enough. Left side is a branch, right side is a huge fan leaf with no branch.. Branch I damaged was just to young and small to wrap scotch tape around it quickly. Felt bad all day after doing it.

Anyone ever use superglue to try to save a snapped branch? Wished I'd thought of it when it happened. I'm gonna pick some up incase it ever happens again...

Did it split down the middle? I’ve had that happen and just zip tied it back together. It fused right back together over time.
The branch I snapped was simply too young to handle being bent the way I was trying to bend it. It snapped and I could almost see the moisture leak out because it was just so green. It hadn't hardened up at all. Dump mistake... I tried scotch tape but it was so small I couldn't get it tight around the branch and further damaged it trying to.. I really wish I had superglue on hand when it happened. Ever try it or know anyone who has?

Yeah, last year, my Buddy and I dug up as much of the rootball as we could. It was an arduous multi hour task. We made her a huge pot and transferred her into that behind the fence where she belonged. I kept the trunk as a trophy and as a testament to the resilience of the plants we all love. And, as to the Busch light box in the background, it's hot, and I'm building a hoop house to make much larger plants (and trunks) happen this year
Sure that's not ginseng lol
