I had stored them in a jar after drying for a week and have been smoking since last 4 weeks..
Today I noticed some whiteish buds on the side of the jar and they smell also a little funky.
Looks like I've got mold. Please can anyone confirm from the pics if thats mold and if so, what to do with the stuff..

I did smoke a little bit and I seem to be ok.. had some weird after taste though

there have only been 2 deathes atributed to smoking marijuana, they were both caused by smoking mouldy bud. now thats not sayoing it was directly or only the cause. the two people in question had both got underlying health issues with the lungs.
but for sure, smoking that stuff is verry verry bad, dont smoke it, throw it in my opinion

damn... I'm scared now.. its been less than 24 hours since I consumed.. and maybe its been moldy a little before I noticed, so perhaps I've been smoking this for 2 to 3 days.. when can I assume I'm going to be fine? (nothing unusual as of now, except that after smoking I found the mold smell stuck in my nose for several hours). Haven't smoked since.

Also will the spores from the infected buds (now disposed off) pose danger to a plant in flowering?

Youll be fine just don’t smoke anymore! Trash it for your health.

There are always spores in the air. But you’re right saying that the more spores there are the more chance there is of more rot.

It's always a good practice to crack open a bud and scope the inside, any "hair" or "fuzz" is mold, there is nothing that looks like that inside a normal bud. A rather large percentage of all weed consumed on a daily basis is moldy-you'll be surprised if you start scoping everything.

Drying is kind of tedious unless you have a controlled humidity and temperature drying cabinet. After I first take hung cannabis down and put in jars with a humidity meter, after about day, the humidity always rises. It sure seemed dry, but nope! Then it goes into a paper bag for a time, then back in the jar. I end up alternating between jars and paper bags multiple times. Tedious.

Damn that looks wild as hell. I just had mold on my first grow ever and it happened during drying (hit 64% RH towards the bottom of the cardboard I was drying it in and the tip was exposed to that area). Ruined the tip(1.5-2") of my main cola and had to cut that portion off and carefully inspected the rest.

Can it get moldy at 64rh?
