I am currently using Bontanicare Pro Grow and Pro Bloom as my base nutes and have been thinking about changing to something different but I am not sure what to try. I dont want to spent a ton of money on a full line up I feel all that extra crap is un needed anyways.Really jusy looking and changing my base nutes. I have been thinking about Cyco, GH Flora line, Advanced Nutrients and I have heard good things about Dyna Grow. Any help and experience would be great. Also has anyone has their crops turn out with a odd smell when using Botanicare? I find that some strain will have the same odd smell and I am starting to wonder if it might be the nutes, I do flush well before harvest.

Blue Planet Nutrients. They have a 3 part synth base, a 2 part synth base, and a 3 part organic base as well as pk boosters and cal/mag.

Really good company and by far the least expensive nutes designed for growing marijuana.

I got some dyna grow as well. If you want to try it out email them saying youve heard good things about them and want to try it before you buy it. they should send you out a mini bottle of grow and a mini bottle of bloom in about a week or 2.

I would suggest any 3 part system out there, most are complete and with it being separated into three different bottles you can change your feeding up accordingly to their size and stage. GH and AN have proven track records and are very reliable products. We have found that Dyna is another decent product but was not in the same category as GH or AN, consistency of manufacturing practices is in question. Your not the first person to say there is a taste with Bontanicare products. With most strains keeping a bottle of cal/mag or something similar will come in handy when they really turn on. JAS

I emailed dyna-gro and got foliagepro and grow formulas. If you shop nutes according to the people who market them then they are both veg formulas, but I'm using them in flower. Which is fine with me since one of my girls is a nute whore and loves her foliage pro. That product saved her life, no bullshit. Save some money and try them out. Your plants will be healthy and you will be happy.DSCF3055.jpg ak48 one week before harvest using grow formula.

I have a bottle of GO CalMg+ and I feed it with every watering 5 mls per gallon, I use RO water. I also use Botanicare Original Berry in flower, GO Bio Root in first 2 weeks after tansplanting, Cyco Potash in week 1-4 of flower and Cyco Swell in weeks 6-8 of flower. I have good results with these nutes, healthy plants and yeild is good. It just this ood smell and taste that some strains will have I think it could be the one of the nutes.

From beginning to end, Jacks Classics or Jacks Citrus. One tub start to finish for many, many grows. Best $30 I've ever spent. Once you switch to Jacks you will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.

Once again, how can you suggest jacks all purpose as a stand alone hydro fert? Dirt n hydro are 2 different things

Do you want great quality nutes that are actually blended specifically for mj?

Are you tired of paying for 90%+ water

Do you want to simplify the nute mixing regimen?

Ain't nothin better than Hydroponic-Research VEG+BLOOM

Thanks for the link PetFlora. Gonna give it a shot. Also, TonightYou for the link. Might try some of that as well. Maybe do a side by side?
As far as funky smell using Botanicare? Never for me, and I use ProGrow, ProBloom, and Liquid Karma for soil. Had very good luck with it.

No problem. I just wish people would understand basic plant botony and not believe the plant goes by a schedule. I recommend Jacks for two reasons. 1. ) they provide every thing ya for a good healthy grow. 2. They don't play the additive bullshit game and if ya email them they actually answer your question. 3. The price....you can't beat it for what you are getting, a quality, consistent product that works

I know others have some other respectable mentions like dyna grow (love their neem) and gh.
