thinking for the future of marijana

hey everyone,

I'm 18 years old and its time for me to decide what i want to do for my life. after experimenting with green for a long period of my life so far i have decided Mary Jane is the chick i want to mingle with my whole life.

i have decided what i was to do from now untill im 25 then after im 25 i will try to open up a dispensary. this is the line of up things for me to do...

first i have ADD and Bipolar these are requirements to get free 2 years of college at a school called landmark in Putney, Vermont. i will be going to this school for 2 years for business. ill be 20 years old when i graduate and only a few months from being a caregiver.

After i graduate from college i go to Michigan for 2 years of horticulture at the state of Michigan university of horticulture. after the first year i will sign up for Oaksterdam and go for a semester. after i graduate Oaksterdam and Michigan University of Horticulture. i will be ready to work for a Dispensary if I'm not already to pay for college and to learn how it works.

by the time i graduate all 3 schools i will be 22-23 and i will work at a dispensary for 2-3 years until I'm 25 and hopefully mmj will be legal in most states so i have a huge decision to make where to place my dispensary. then i will hire people that i trust and who really care about helping sick people using this beautiful plant and miracle bud.

so if you see some flaws in this i would appreciate you if you could help me smooth it out.

thanks for reading people i know its a little selfish of me to post my future in hopes of people to help me out with it. but i think that if i do this and it works out poorly then i wasted a ton of money and a few years. so this is better then that. thanks a lot.

Well you have a plan... now work the plan.... No wind favours a ship with no destination.... start saving capital to open your dispensary.... business always takes more than you need and undercapitalization is a bitch.... and most bankers haven;t got thedispensary model figured out...

Go read "The Botany of Desire". Dispensaries are not where cutting edge breakthroughs are made, they are made in labs, mostly in Israel and Europe. The US has banished all things to do with marijuana from our university system and there is only one lab in the country that is allowed on the federal level to cultivate cannabis. Honestly in the time you are talking about spending in school you will be better off just going to Holland and learning from the masters there.

Another thing to remember is that these communities are fairly tight knit and here in the US even med is a legal grey area. You can't just walk into a dispensary with 50 pounds of bud and try and sell it, you have to be "in".

good idea maybe i should think instead of opening a dispensary just working at one for awhile to get a feel for the plant and then move to holland and learn from the masters then move back if or when marijuana is legalized or mmj is more legal then it is at the moment.

Is working in a dispensary really acheiving something in your life? It won't get you that far, think about it. If you want to make something of your life, go for medicine or law - that's REAL paper.

P.S.

Anyone who disagrees is out of their mind and should go live in the jungle. This is the way Western society has worked for hundreds of years and will continue to do so - medicine and law are amongst the best fields to go into - not selling green to a bunch of sick people, no matter how good MJ is <3

If he becomes a respected scholar of the horticultural arts. And a biologist and wishes to grow Marijuana professionally then that does seem like a life goal to me. What else to biologist do? Stare at dirt. He might even concoct a crazy strain. What the hell dude, and I think marijuana is kind of like medicine already

Yes well the OP didn't say anything about becoming a "respectable scholar of the horticultural arts". That is indeed something great, however, anyone who approves of marijuana is always shunned by his/her government and rejected by his community.
An excellent example is Prof. David Nutt, chief drug advisor in the UK. He was fired just a few months ago for saying that marijuana should be classed as a C instead of a B drug.
