Hello all, Im building a stealth cabinet and dont have much room ( https://www.rollitup.org/t/dusting-off-and-updating-my-old-grow-cabinet.983781/ ) , and really want FS grow leds. I was looking at some 18w, 30w, and 100w, screw in bulbs for the seedling/veg and flower chamber. But after getting dimensions of the bulbs, i dont believe ill have the proper distance required for the lights.

Could I make a FS led panel for my chambers, what wattage, and what materials would i need ?

Thanks for the help.

Ive done cfls before. I just cant hardly find them at stores anymore. They carry the led bulbs now. So FS grow leds was an alternative.
But if cfl has to be used then so be it.
Im on gassycity as well, just not same name.

I use GU10 led bulbs in a small space.
The GU10 is shorter so doesn't affect my height too much.
I have some of the bulbs you linked and they are crap, your better off with warm/ daylight white bulbs.

The bulbs are rated at 15w each but actual draw is 5.5w per bulb, so don't fall for the bs. The white bulbs are rated 6w and draw near enough 6w.
My advice is buy the bulbs from a hardware store.

How tall is it? Strips are good in cabinets because they can be run as close as a few inches above the canopy.

Strips are available in 11", 22" and 44" lengths. I'd suggest four (or six) of these, https://www.arrow.com/en/products/bxeb-l0280z-30e1000-c-b3/bridgelux
And one of these drivers with dimming. https://www.arrow.com/en/products/hlg-40h-24a/mean-well-enterprises.

You could also use screw in LEDs, you'd want about 60 ACTUAL watts, six 10w bulbs or four 15w.
CFL is something like 50-60 lumen/watt, screw in LED is about 100, and the strips are 175.

You will do much better in a small space with the shit that everyone is endorsing here. HLG stuff works great with a great warranty. Companies like Pacific Lighting Concepts, Chilledtech, or DIY samsung strips are also excellent options. Some upstarts like BCBlondes and Atreum lighting seem to be getting some attention and are certainly worth considering. Places like Cutter Electronics in Australia or LEDtech in Germany are good options for the 'International Customers'.
