This seems too good to be true, its made for photography but I feel like it was custom made for side lighting your plants lol

$69 comes with 3x stands, 3x reflectors, 3x 4 way bulb splitters, and 12x 45w 6500k bulbs (12 of these lights are would run about $100, so you its like you are getting the the other stuff for free!)

Again someone tell me why I should not buy this cause I cant see any reason why I shouldn't, I was trying to figure out how I was going to do side lighting and I already have 12 extra 2700k bulbs lieing around so can use both veg and flower

That's pretty cool. You get a lot of bulbs and holders for the price. For me, that in itself makes it a decent purchase. I'm not sold on the reflectors, though. They look a little big (and deep) for cfl growing.

yeah think i will get it just for the 4 socket holder, I make some DIY reflectors to go with them. I may hold of on buying as I want to upgrade to LED at some point, but these may be good for a veg box. Thanks for the advice, I also wanted to share as didnt think of using camera lighting equipment for growing lol and seems like it was made for vegging lol.

What do you make your reflector with? I came across this when I was looking for a grow light and thought the 4 socket thing was pretty awesome myself. I'm trying to make a reflector for my current setup, but all I have is some sheet metal, curious how you make yours.

I used a 2 foot by 8 inch galvanized steel pipe used for ducting, it is split down the middle and already curved so you more or less shaped perfectly. I then spray painted the inside white with heat resistant spray paint to up the reflective property a little. will not be good as real reflectors but it seems to be suiting my plant.

I would also think you could get a 10 or 12 inch clip lamp with reflector, take out the lighting wiring and put in the 4 slot piece.
