Thinking of killing these plants, opinions?

Here's the deal. People are just being the way they are because hey its the internet.

If I were you I'd continue to learn on these. No point in beginning a new one when you still don't really understand how to grow it.

Cut it to the second node and regrow it out from there. It will give you time to fuck it up some more while still learning.

If those were my plants my options for myself would be:
1) Supercrop so the side branches can catch up
or
2) Continue to LST so the side branches can catch up
or
3) Monstercrop and create clones for a SoG setup.

can't growing anything without a good light, yeah that's the problem. seriously, give it some good light and that thing will surprise you!
