Thinking of starting a Fridge grow box, couple general questions

Hey all, I'm new to the site and just had a couple questions. I used the search function but I feel like I couldn't find what I needed.

Anyhow, I'm thinking of converting this old fridge I have into a grow box. The fridge is 26.5x29x65", with the upper 19" of the height being the freezer compartment. I see that it has a fan in the freezer area but im not quite sure how to use it to regulate ventilation or if I need to go another way with that aspect. My question is what should I be looking at in terms of the space I have to deal with? I don't really have a preference of quantity of plants but what number would be in the "sweet spot" for the amount of space I have? I have a couple more questions but this is whats most on my mind at the moment about the project.

Your talkin about a pretty small space i mean little over 2ft by 2ft thats not much to work with you be lucky to get 2 maybe 3 plants in there .....Also the fridge is not going to be easy to alter its fiberglass and metal and heavy......Why not just make life easy and buy a small grow tent or turn one of those cabnets from home depot into one or just make your own box......Just seems like a big hassle to grow in such a small space........And if you dont have the money to spend on a tent or material for a box then you probably shouldnt be trying to grow anyways......just food for thought......In the end its better to spend more and do it right then waste time and money on somting that will most likely not be as efficent and pain in the ass

Thanks for the reply FC. Yeah that does seem to make more sense I was just trying to work with what I had first. So I take it the optimal setup is 4x4?

I think 4x4 is best for a small garden.....However to maximize your yield in a 4x4 space you would want atleast a 600w light and I prefer 1000w for 4x4 so that also something to consider... What ever you do dont limit your height because it will end up being a bitch to deal with.....Also make sure you dont exhaust your air back into the room that your grow box or tent is in.....
