Also i am using a mix of plain out door soil i think there is a little bit of old old miracle grow soil in there and some soil that i stole out of a cactus plant i had that was dying. I used some miracle grow Tomato Plant food the NPK is 18 18 21 and i have only used it twice at a very reduced strength.
HOW ARE MY PLANTS LOOKING SO FAR CONSIDERING THE CONDITIONS THEY ARE GROWN In

PS i am LSTING THE one in the orange bucket
and the one in the Listerine container i fimmed it

Didnt work for me either..But, just 2 let you know, i have 85w cfls if your interested..check my posts, i have pics up. there BEAUTIFUL, 4200 lumens each. not trying to hijack your thread, wanted 2 let you know i cant see the pics/...good luck..

im no pro as this is my 1st grow as well..BUT i consider myself a veg pro bc thats as far as i can get so far..have yet 2 successfully bud, but i was wrkn with BS lites n setup,i now should have everything good tho..back 2 my input..i think there alittle small for almost 3weeks old, BUT we know thats bc of the lumens u have..the color looks good, and they look healthy, ..nice job with the minimal fert, u really dont wanna start fert til 3rd-4th week..but thats just what ive heard. i did it, they held up..all in all, keep it up, dnt over water, dnt over fert..less is more..GL

Wow that looks skecty.

But anyways they look good. You might want to figure out a way to move all of those light closer tho... like the ones high up.

lol on a side note, be carefull of fire hazards.

Good luck tho

I would drop those lights down on top of your plants. Your plants all in all look pretty good. i would def swap that dirt for some el cheepo $1.99 potting soil if you can :p if you have a fish tank air pump and an airstone laying around you could build yourself a really cheap bubbler system without even having to go to the store :p

Do you plan on doing this entire grow in outdoor dirt?

How many plants & how much was the return on your other 2 cfl grows? (just curious :)

Anyways For being outside dirt and dirt thieved from your other household plants they are looking pretty good.

Def gonna keep an eye on your grow.

I think you should have an oscilating fan in there. That soil theyre in is awful you should have a good soil with perlite and the correct ph between 6.5-7.0 Have the cfl's all hanging above the plants so they grow directly up. Using tomato fert is ok but you want more essential nutes (N) (P) (K)! Buying a simple bottle of canna nutes isnt too hard going along with some decent soil. :-|

Ya deff hang ur lights. so that u can raise and lower them as needed. and make sure ur using 5500-6500k bulbs for veg cycle. im using 8 daylight CFL's and they are working out real well. but like dude said up there u want them above ur plants so that the plants stretch toward the light so they get taller and not fatter. and buy good soil. i got a huge bag of scotts potting soil for like 5 dollars at home depot and also get perlite. helps with oxygen and drainage. and deff get a fan no doubt. makes a huge difference when growing inside and deff when they are in a closet or something similair. and using emergency blakets or mylar helps a bunch to. but if u dont have the money tin foil off the area. good luck man have fun

edit: well looks like u already do have a fan. dont point that fan right at them....adjust it so its just barely above them so they move around jus alil. tip i got from another guy is that he bounces the air off the wall before it comes back and hits his plants. i dont do this cus of the way mines set up. but u just deff dont want that fan right on them
