First two appear to be balls but give it more time. The second one is only showing secondary branching appearing and can't tell the sex yet.

Please hope with me that those arent balls!!! That is my second biggest baby!! If it is male, no tears I guess, all part of the game huh? As I watch this plant over the next few days I will update the pics. Just a quick question in case I dont get to get back on here again soon with new pics. What are sure signs of male/female that I will be seeing. If its female will these grow hairs before more grow?? Or can more grow and sex still not be determined? Hope my questions make sense cause Im high right now and they seem iffy to me. Thanks so much for helping me!

If it is female you will see little WHITE hairs sticking out where the secondary branching is. Use a magnifying glass and look them all over. Normally they will be towards the top.

If it is male, it will come in round balls at the same place as the white long flower. It will turn to two, three and many balls if you leave it over time and eventually pop open to release pollen. Most males grow faster and taller than females. There are pictures all over the internet to see what they look like. My avatar shows what the flowers will look like. Long and white.

I am in the process of building a much better lighting system. Right now I have monster CFLs in there but they are 6500k from my veg period. I am wiring up a fixture now with 6 bulbs instead of 2 and the bulbs are 2700k. When I switch to this lighting will flowering speed up or stay the same? Edit! btw Bluetick, beautiful plant man. I hope I can get something thats even remotely close to that!

When you switch to the different spectrum bulb this is technically your "flowering bulb" the lower color temp will produce an orange light and create buds opposed to the bright bright white look. When you switch to this light is when your gonna switch your timer to a 12 on 12 off cycle. The plant budding is a result of the color spectrum and the light cycle, so its not going to really speed up. I hope this helps

I already switched to 12/12 as I didn't want to outgrow my space. But the spectrum is still for veg. I am about done with new lights but it's dark time in my grow room so I can't rig it up till in the am. Not wanting a faster flower, I know there's nothing I can do for that, just wondering if there's a way to see signs of sex faster. Thanks again for your help. Those are just two plants I have about 12 more but no flower g signs that I saw. More pics to come and I appreciate everyones assisstance both now and in the future! Big yields for all!!! (I hope!)

Yes Kill the male. I am 100% sure. You wait around and the female can get pollenated with one busted ball. That plant is going to cluster up with balls real soon. Also just a FYI a male can blow pollen in veg.
Thanks for trusting me. I would not steer you wrong.

Well it has been given a death sentence to be executed at first light in my grow room. Let us say a prayer for this fallen soldier for he has served his purpose!!

I'm not so sure about the 100% I don't see any pre-flowers in the second two pics.I do see a calyx and white hairs...not ball clusters in the first two. Don't be too quick to take this guy's word on it.Wait a little longer.

The first two pictures show a single ball which is how all males start out. I do not see any white hairs in the first two photos.

Do as you wish with them but I'd be willing to bet my left nut sac that the first two pictures are males. There is nothing there that shows sign of a female. Let it go a week and come back and tell us. :bigjoint:
