Great thread, don't have to much to add. I know I do as much research as I can before I ask, or I want some confirmation on something. Many folks have helped me along the way, and without them I would still be making dumb mistakes. I have learned so much on here it blows my mind. Never would I have switched away from MG fertz( believe that!), I have never been so it tune with my plants, and I certainly wouldn't have thrived for a better product. Many of you set a bar with your grows that its like compitition, and I want to reach that standard.

Uncle Ben has done nothing but help me with my grow. He's answered about every question i've ever asked him. I have seen many of his posts and one thing I see is he trys to allow "YOU" to figure out your garden. He can only point the way(and has repeatedly), he can't grow for you....sort of like , "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink".

Thanks. I try to empower people to understand plant culture so they can make their own decisions and not become a slave to forum advice or manipulated by hydro vendors.

I report, you decide,

LOL there has been a few new threads that I read today that are pure stupidity. Like this guy wanted to know what "human foods" he could use to feed his plants, as he doesn't have much money. Someone suggested Jacks Classic which is 6 bucks... and the guy went nuts on him saying that he doesn't want stupid answers to his question... which in all honesty... i believe he has asked a pretty stupid question.... tsk tsk tsk.

I think that there are a lot of over inflated ego's, people are so set that there only one way to do things, one place to get this, one place to get that and when someone has a different view, they feel threatened. Like this forum is theirs in some kind of way. Then usually the person who shared an opinion of a different method is made to look like an ass.

Then you got the band wagon joiners, haven't said a single word in 70 posts in a thread, but then feel the need to just post something like yeah, listen to this guy, he's my homie..

If we all accepted others different ways and took the best elements from all of them, then we would move forward, but its our own built in nature for pride that prevents it.

Then again we are all seperated from each other from the day we are born, all told about differences, sporty type people, drop out type people. Boy's Girl's. Brainy types bullies. I think that all these difference that are pushed upon us from an early age by society which is probably the reason why we all act the way we do to one another.

Quick question about second harvests. Just how many times can you take the plant to harvest, reveg what you don't harvest, and then flower again later? I've read a few threads about second harvesting, and a few people mention getting a third, but is that as far as you can take it?

Re-vegging a plant is risky and can cause it to herm. You could possibly do it in theory but it's very unlikely you will be able to take it past the second re-veg. Re- vegging from what evidence I've seen is possible however.

I personally took interest in this but never really got around to testing it out, the herm factor is a major turn-off for me. I wouldn't suggest stressing a plant. I have no exp. in re-vegging however, just my thoughts on the topic.
