I recently came into a mass quantity of nyc seeds its an old strain grown in the southern foothills of oregon for years. its been bred down by the grower i got em from to be a large outdoor producer.

So lets begin

I intend to go 12/12 from seed and rotate 8 groups of 20 plants into the flower table from my sprout area, that gives me a perpetual harvest 9 to 10 weeks in that will be 20 plants a week grown 12/12 from sprout. i figure ill pop 40 beens a week and keep the best of them to rotate into 20 a week.

i start my seeds in a straight helping of ffof soil in 16 oz solo cups i will be building a table to hold square pots but thats later on. for now we will try the solo cups thru harvest. i doubt it will be big enough but im a transplanting fool its ok.

40 seeds a week? yep, no worries guys i could do fourty a day for three years and still have stock. i got aloootz of dem beans. 400 watts of hps and a big cool garage. ambient temps in summer at a nice 65* f. lights on its 71 f.

its day e3 in yhe dirt i got a few beans poking up more to come.

There are 34 popped at last count. I post from a cell phone with my rollitup app. Pictures are proving to be a bitch to get posted. I have good ones to show all of you. Seeds are growing very fast. Doubled size in 24 hrs. Couple more days ill pick my twenty and switch 12/12 and get the show going. I'm gonna try to attach pictures in a few and see if I can make it work.

That's the hood and ballast for flower yes. It's mh bulb now but I have a hps for flower. They need switched. I haven't lightproofed yet so I'm on 24/0 for a while. Then ill change bulbs and flower.

I moved my starts to a closet in an air conditioned room. I'll add a fan and track temps close. I'm on 12/12 now and will be transplanting into half ffof and half perlite. So I can feed more often with less risk. I will be trying to round up some 1gal square pots and soil tomorrow and do the transplant. Here's a pic of the girls in place. Mh lamp was hot ill switch the hps/mh duel spectrum bulb into the hood right before lights on tomorrow. I'm also trying to combat heat by keeping my lights on 9pm to 9am.

Goodnight everyone.

Heats a bitch guys. I'm in the closet now lights on door open. I got a large fan exauhsting the room and I'm stuck at 84 degrees. any ideas?

Edit. Made a phone call. I think I'm gonna vent fresh air in through the wall and a 6 foot duct. 2 vents with no forced air should be fine ill put them next to an open window so the pull air from the cool night air. Average 60 here at night. I have a buddy (phone call) who has a 250cfm centrifugal fan with 5 inch ductng. Right now its an average sized closet with no door. I've hung a large canvas blanket over the door to keep the light cycles but tomorrow we will change things.

The plan...

Cut two 5 inch holes in the drywall on the bottow portion of the closet. Run dryer vent duct from the wall to the window for an intake. Or is that widow to the wall? <-- get it? Lol.
With 10 inches of unrestricted intake I believe I can vent the heat into the cieling and the attic/crawlspace..

That in a sealed room will give me more airflow than what's needed. Sealed room? Shit. I don't have that. I got the fix it involves foam pool noodles and plywood but it should be ok just gotta seal the door over with plywood cut a section and hinge it for access and then seal the edges by putting the foam noodles inbetween the plywood and the door frame before screwimg down the plywood.

That should seal the room well enough to give the ventilation a chance to work. Essentially the goal is 78 degrees with lights on. Nicest bonus is I'm one step.closer to being able to add co2. Sweet.

Dry ice water anyone?

I.see so many good things coming.

Feel free to post in here its kinda dead. I love discussions.

Goodnight

Big thing guys big things. Puctures to.

I sold a dew of the seedlings and went shopping. I got 16 feet of dryer hose duct at walmart. I plumed in a 8 foot section from the ac units output in the window through the wall into the grow space. I then took a 200 cfm inline fan and plumbed into tve attic. I now have a steady 72 degrees at canopy level with a 400watt 15 inches above.

Conments?

Pictures.
