ok well im prolly jus gonna get 2 ofthose clamp lights with 2 idk 42w 6500k bulbs im gonna move the shop light an hang the two cfls over the 3 plants for now how far away should they be then wen i get some more money ima buy 2 more and should they be 1 6500 an 1 2500 or somethin i got 3 one week old plants so rite now the shop light is ok rite i jus been gettin so much info idk wat to do

What's the "k" on your shop lights bulbs you have right now? If it's 6,000 to 6,500 keep that and just get your self 2 to 3- (2,700k or lower).
If you shop bulbs age good to go. Buy 2 clamp holders and buy 1 "y" splitter (I think that's what there called) cost you like $3. This will let you use 2 bulbs per clamp light.
That should save you a few bucks. You hang the bulbs as close as you can get them before it over heats the plant or burns them once there as close as you think you can get them. Hold your hand under the light for a min or 2. If the light doesn't get hot on your hand your good.

ok the shop light is 6500k im pretty sure but ok ima get 4 cfls for now then 2 6500 an to 2500 is that rite cuz the shop light is 2 ft an once i get the plants transplanted an stuff idk if its gonna be big enough

You'll be fine with lighting if you get that for now to veg. I wouldnt worry about to much about making them purple. A healthy plant will turn all the right colors that it wants to once you start trying to change colors you'll run into problems. If your looking for purple look into some purple plants that carry the gene. If your tips are getting brown on the end your over nuting. That's nut burn on the ends.
