This look like an NL Auto?

Ostensibly NL Auto seed popped on Feb. 1st, should be done in a few weeks. This is my first Auto and first NL. Most pictures and descriptions of NL at the various seed banks describe it as 80-90% indica. This plant is unique (for me at least) in that it looked typically indica until the gradual transition to flower. Since then, its morphed into sativa-like pheno. A nice surprise and fun to watch; plant looks like a keeper.

Is this typical for a NL Auto?

NL is a 60% Indica 40% Sativa strain. It won many medals in competition because of the nice balance it has. It is not a lounge locker or a fidget monster. I am growing NL XXL ATM and your top photo looks a lot like what mine is.

northan lights is a pure indica

Northern Lights strain

Northern Lights is an indica marijuana strain made by crossing Afghani with Thai. Northern Lights produces euphoric effects that settle in firmly throughout the body, relaxing muscles and easing the mind. Consumers say this strain has a pungently sweet and spicy flavor profile that is smooth on the exhale
