I saw some ask this a couple days ago, I can't find their post

So I've got some redish purplish steam on some sprouts,
I know it's not the end of the world, but I'd like to figure out what it means for the next time I water,
Please help thank youu

most likely genetics but could be related to the nutrients they are being fed, seedlings with no nutrients yet I would go with genetics ^_-

the chance of getting a alpha/good gene female from just a few seeds are really slim. sorry to burst your bubble. but hey you might get lucky and get a good gene.

You never feed a seedling anything :cuss: they have lil round leaves ((cotyledons=food and energy for seedling stage)) that sustain them for at least 2-3 weeks and the nutes you're force feeding them is gona kill em'...always wait for 2 to 4 weeks or when the bottom leaves "start" to turn yellow...NOT TURN YELLOW, but "start" to turn and then hit them with about 1/4 strength nutes...

Yes it can be genetics :wall: but...what you're actually seeing is the plants internal system transfering water and nutrients throughout the plant...it's quite normal...now if it's a solid color running up your stem then I'd check my PH...good luck and quit feeding those babies...lol...

Okay I will not give them any more nutes, the guy at the shop suggested give them like a microscopic amount sence rock wool had no nutes, so I did ,Imma noob sorry:( so the purple is like a vain to say the least ?

You guys don't think I fried them already with the nutes
The all seem super healthy just alittle purple in one the leaves are nice and green , ph is about 5.5-6

Are you gona go hydro or soil?? Soil is more forgiving for a n00b, and you can learn how to read your plants before you go trying hydro where there's alot that can go wrong if you're a first timer...and as long as you just let them sprouts do there own thing, yeah they'll be alright...even though I've seen no pics and couldn't really say...lmao...
