This was an autoflower that I accidentally topped...

Thin out those skinny limbs with larfy skinny buds...The rest will fatten up

I had a plant do this, in fact I haven't harvested it yet and will take pictures. It was just a big ball of leaves and limbs, like a fancy shrub. Nothing could get through. So I started chopping the skinny limbs making sure not to hurt the larger 3/ or more node limbs....It shocked the plant but in the long run it worked out decently..

Heres both plants. Where i went wrong was trying to tie them down. I leaned them instead of bending.

Indicas really get thick and need cleaned out more than sativas. I believe if the plant is healthy it can handle some pretty hardcore training and still bounce back fast.

Some autos will respond well to topping some won't. This Pineapple Express by Barney's farm responded very well
