Week 8 of flower and plant isn’t growing bigger by much.. so my question is if by week 9 and the buds aren’t getting bigger can I chop it down the plant looks a bit weird it’s had a rough life. I maybe the worst grower to date.. below I will see pics I took today this plant has only been outside 3 weeks so said it would have went back to veg mode so I cover it after 12 hrs.. it doesn’t appear to be stacking as they would say I really don’t kno what I should do.
The middle is stunted and has not grown out in months so it hardly and buds just the top and lower half. From the pics what y’all think and u can be honest. I feed her morbloom twice a week.

I

I was thinking about cutting the top and let the middle catch up??
Wouldn't hurt nothing if you did. Outdoors you get perfect light coverage so that isn't an issue like it can be indoors if the top is a lot higher than all the other buds.

Looks like it's stuck between flowering and vegging. I would do what you said, chop the best buds and let her finish. You have all summer, could turn out to be a nice plant by fall. If not you still have some decent smoke, albeit a little larfy.

I'd be letting that go for a while yet. I've had worse than that give up a decent amount of bud.

Where you getting this rain? We could use a shitload of it here in northern Alberta before the whole place burns down.

I’m in Interior Alaska. We sent wildfire fighters down to Alberta. First time ever in May. Over 100 fires in Alberta alone. Hang in.

I'm driving down to Edmonton to pick up a boat tomorrow and have to take an alternate route. Highway 43, 4 lanes divided, which is the fastest with 110km/hr, 67mph, is limited to 50km/hr, 30mph, for a lot of the way there due to very limited visibility. Dry as a popcorn fart all over the province so it's hwy 2 or 33 from Peace River or stay home and miss out on a good deal.

I just found this site today to help me plan my route.

This is supposed to be happening in BC like usual dammit! :)

If that plant does decide to reveg, the entire flowering phase it’s already gone through would be a waste. I’ve seen plants outside at someone’s place while we were visiting, and they revegged after about 6 weeks of flowering.. the bud on the plant at the time of reveg was a waste. Needed to be trimmed off before mold moved in & got comfortable.

So, the newly flowered nugs'd be good?
It had to be brought inside to finish. I had given the guy the plant. After I helped him with snipping the old unfinished bud off,
I told him I washed my hands with it. He said it was good.. I just didn't want any lol
He didn't know what he was doing on the silent side of things, but said he didn't need help out loud so... lol.

At the the time of regveg there were only white hairs so then I flipped back I wanted to make sure it was a female cause 2 other seeds from same bag were males, and I went through like 8 weeks before finding.out didn’t wanna wait another 2 months…someone on here suggested start 12/12 from jump then flip back. Me not knowing any better was like yea let’s do that.. so this is what I’m left with and after doing all that 6 weeks in flower tree falls on my roof so badly I had to move and now where I am this plant can’t be indoors like it had been it’s entire life est 1/5/23 soo yea I wanna give up but it’s my 1st female.. and like in real life that 1st one hard to let go some times lol sorry rambling.. (I’m stoned)

Outdoors this time of year and in flower I'm thinking she's very confused about what she's supposed to do. Longer days should gradually send back into veg hence bud development is arrested. I'm fairly inexperienced so take my advice with a grain of salt...imo I would expect little to no new growth from the flower tops. If it were me I would consider removing the tops (effectively topping the plant). Maybe this would help encourage her to go back to full veg mode and concentrate on new growth. Shorter days later will re-trigger flowering. I wouldn't give up. I see it as a chance to learn. My only experience with re-vegging was a monster clone. It took almost a month to root and new growth was painfully slow at first but became vigorous. All new growth came from under the bud and the bud eventually ceased to exist.
