Thoughts on My Soon to be New Drying Cabinet?

I'm converting an old grow cabinet that I made out of a steel wardrobe into a drying cabinet. If my current grow goes well I'll have 8 plants ready to chop in about 6 weeks (3 Fruit punch, 2 Marionberry Kush, 2 Strawberry Amenesia and 1 pineapple express). So, I'm going to need a bit more room than previous harvests of 1-2 plants at a time.

Here is what I'm currently working with and pics of the cab. The light and filter are removed. Any suggestions or insights welcome.

  • Interior painted flat white
  • lower air intake 4" computer fan
  • upper air exhaust 4" duct fan
  • it is not completely air tight/sealed but has no light leaks
  • I'll insert a temp/humidity probe and mount the thermometer outside the cabinet
  • It will be located in my basement grow room with temp 80 -84 F and RH about 40%
  • I have a can filter that I've removed, but can reinstall

It's not a humidor. ;-). I know it's just for drying, but I'm wondering if I should line it with something to help absorb moisture. Cardboard?
