So I have a 4x4 grow tent an a smaller 4x3 grow tent I have a 1000 watt bestva led in the big tent now but plan on upgrading it to a sun system 315 an putting the bestva in the smaller tent is this a good plan

It will be a good upgrade since the bestva only draws 185w from the plug, atleast from the info i could find, however if you have not yet bought the sunsystem 315, then you should consider some LEDs instead, after all the sunsystem is 500+$ wherere i found it and i am sure you can get some decent LEDs for that price.

You want to have a 630 cmh fixture for a 4x4.


There are cheaper options out there too.....


Or cheaper yet, get this fixture and buy the philips bulbs, would have about $400 into it.

Even with led, you are going to need nearly 500 actual watts in there. Cheapest effective choice is HID, just dont waste your money on something that will be inadequate for your space. HID you want 50w per sq/ft, good led 35w per sq/ft

What leds do you recommend

I want to go cmh for both tents what the cheapest best route to go

This is my first grow should i defoliat during flower check these out tell me yalls opinion

Totally honest i got different people in each one giving their opinion an I'm cross referencing to get best outcome

With leds iv been told to run veg an bloom or should I just run bloom I'm just trying to learn man sorry if I bothered you in any way

I try to do most before flipping. But I've done it more little by little the first 3 weeks, or at 3 weeks. I'm trying to see what stresses them less. I think @Renfro says don't mess with them during the first 3 weeks, so that's what I've been trying again lately.

Edit: I try not to mess with them after week 3.

I might not be the right person to tell you that since i am just getting into these new LEDs, but for me personally i wanted to get something i knew was quality build and a proper business where i could get a good customer service, so i bought the lumatek zeus 600w pro.

If i could not have afford the zeus 600w pro, i would go for the spiderfarmer SF4000, they might be chinese "cheap" lights to some people, but they grow buds like mad, i mean google SF4000 grow and you will see the results, those lights make monsterbuds and yields! I personally also looked at HLG aswell and was actually locked on them for a while, but i could not find any growlogs with pictures of the bud size and yields with people using these lights, even after asking here on forums noone could give me any links, and i prefer to see what a light does in a growlog instead of people writing that its good. (I am not saying HLG are not good, im just saying the picture proofs are hard to find compared to ect SF4000 or any other growlights)
