Thrip Damage, Will She Survive?

Charlotte CBD Auto Fem, with LST LED grow. Week 3 of flowering.

I had noticed the new white pistils were turning brown way too prematurely.

Once my eyes adjusted to have a closer look I saw a mini-beast, then another and another and so on. Fuck, what the hell are these things. Thrips!

This is my first CBD grow and was hoping to make tintures from her but I'm not sure if I should just put her to aside and start to grow another.

Pictures attached, pistils mostly brown some newer areas mostly white.

Treated with tabacco water mix and cinnamon water into the top layer of the soil.

What do you guys think?

Man, that depends on how bad the infestation gets..

If it were me, I'd toss her in the bin, take care of the thrip problem and then start over.

Good Luck!

Thank you for replying!

I've been spraying the whole plant with tabacco mixed water (a quick fix I found on Google) I haven't seen many thrips since, individuals a few times I've checked, sometimes none but the buds are browned and I'm sure I've stunted this poor auto by not noticing earlier :(

Thinking about putting her outside, at least they'll be some natural predators for thrips out there.

Cheers bud

I think you’re asking for more pest problems than you’ll solve if you take it outside.
Can't have it in my grow room if I'm gonna start from scratch with some other plants, but don't want to bin it either. Gonna put it out to pasture see if it can stumble on. It's not like I can reuse the soil anyway

Good plan. Sorry. I was just picturing it sitting on a deck or patio and picking up some spider mites to join the thrips to really make it a party.
My father in law is notorious for starting with one pest problem and then creating a whole host of other issues for himself. It’s all left me a bit gun shy haha.
