just a few short days..... i have a problem though.... I have 3 nice plants ready to replace this weeks chop down, but.... only one will fit and I'm not sure which one to put in!! i have a bubblegum, AK, or WOWO. maybe tomorrow i will throw pics up of each one and let all of you guys choose for me.

I wish I had that problem lol Awesome will be checking in to see which one you pick!! When/if you do the sunlight pic it would be cool if you posted a pic in the sun and one like normal to compare

ak is a classic for physical pain, what issues if any do you deal with again stoney? sorry I should remember if we discussed it but honestly it get's confusing remembering all of it ::P

nothing of any serious significance. i am diabetic but not medicated just diet controlled. but yes, AK is great for physical pain/relaxation. I am flat footed and work on my feet for long hours during the weekends. so come around this time when my knees are feeling it, the AK works very nicely. Vaping up a few bags right now! but I'm cheating a little.... i mixed in some wonder woman to add some giggles to the high... that's just for my self amusement!

Do you know of any stains that could possibly help with speeding up metabolism?
 
speeding UP metabolism? I have some experience in the use of cannabis to aid hyperthyroid disorder but that was simply to help balance dietary issues... speed up metabolism... hrm... I am really racking my brain here and nothing is coming to mind, directly or indirectly such as with combination of exercise there is no strain I can think of that has a connection in that manner. Sorry dude I'll rack my brain a bit while I am still sober but no high hopes honestly.

Ah yes diabetes! I remember know we had that fascinating discussion on diabetes and it's relation to the munchies and how the munchies was in fact caused by the body's interpretation of it's own blood sugar levels! :) love shop talk

P.s. Yea blend them buds if ya can't breed to make a strain for every situation mix the different kinds ya got for those situations, I make a few extracts using that exact technique ;)

i also can't think of a strain that would increase metabolism. if you've heard of dr mitch earleywine (he's a professor at suny albany who focuses on medical benefits of pot and appears on the norml show live on wednesdays -- can give you more info on that if anyone's interested). he says that cannabis generally slows down metabolism (often increases appetite, but slows down metabolism, which is why people end up gaining weight). it sounded from his info that this was pretty general statement, not strain specific.

also, i agree on the strain mixing for variety. when i smoke my first harvest, i personally prefer mixing 63.5% sour diesel and 36.5% purple diesel for a balanced high :)

Thanks guys... i kind of figured it lowered metabolism but i wasn't sure i thought i would ask.

but i am shocked at both of your replies about mixing the strains or "making a salad" as i call it! i didn't know it really worked that well i always just thought it was all in my head... I'm going to have to experiment with this more.... I'm kind of new to all the potent strains... smoked mids and grew bag seed for so long!!

dude, what a steal! you won't regret that purchase man. i'm using two of them as my only exhaust fans right now (though i will probably add a third to keep up with the intake and eliminate some air leaks). they work wonders for odor control... if you place yours near your plants, that should work as well!
 
I need an array of them within the month, where did you buy yours stoney? if it is corporate it may be a computer error that I could (cough) exploit (cough)

i think i will go back and get another one tomorrow! i started using it in a room where i puff a lot and this thing works great!! I'm gonna see if the replacement filters are on sale to.
