that last pic looks kewl as hell. it looks like a bud city. with taller bud buildings lol. the crystals are all over those buds. wow i just found my dollar store bonnets and am gonna put one on the blueberry when i put her in the flower room.

no, sadly they don't stay white. even if you cut them white, when it dries they turn orange. and my pics are big because I'm lazy. i don't size them down. i take the photo with my camera, send the pics to my PC then upload them with photobucket then I click the attach photo button on the quick reply and paste.
yea they all have white hairs before they are ready, but that bubblegum is not normal. the hairs on top are white but so are the trics. I had a hard time finding any clear ones. so if it's still white when i cut it then so be it.
Thanks dude!! that diesel is frosty for only four weeks of flowering! those hats work great for me!!! I have a few of them now and they all are doing great. they really help keep my canopy at an even level.

im not diss'n stoney.im just confused by 1 of mine. i watch what you guys got goin on ya know? judge my opinions off what i read and see. but my dom seems to be going backwards to me. i reminds me of what im seing in ur pics. im not comparing our buds and such<just the way there matureing. this 1 dom i talk of is nit normal to its mama or siblings.yours looks great! i wanna check my other one now!!!!!

some plants push new hairs out late in flowering. i wish i knew what caused this or if it's something I'm doing wrong. it seems to happen much more when foxtails are present. I usually take it as a good sign, when a small group of them push out the buds swell up much bigger. and i noticed all of my strains seem to do this a some point. not all plants do it just some.... i go by the trics almost exclusively, but if the buds get late fox tails and it is still getting fatter i let it ride and let a few trics begin to degrade for the trade off of a few grams extra.

. i agree with what you said earlier about the tradeoff (get a little more amber but a few more grams, seems worthwhile). also, love the dollar tree hats! when i harvested, i just left it on, snapping one branch at a time. seemed easier that way.on a separate note, i'm in PM-watch mode with my harvest, tossing away any buds or sugar leaves that look infected. now that i'm looking at your closeups, maybe i'm going overboard? for example, in the first that i'm quoting above (pic #1 of post 893), that little leaf that's sort of facing left almost in the middle of the picture. is that white stuff normal? i would've removed it assuming the white splotches were PM. am i way off?
p.s. i'm vaping the scissor hash as we speak

dude, you may have found a seed!??!?!?! that is soooo awesome!!!!! and i have to say after running downstairs as fast as i could to check on that mold spot, it turns out it was just the reflection from the flash... hahaha that is the one problem i haven't had indoors yet, so I'm probably due!
do you have a fan in your hanging closet? if you keep the air moving around it will reduce the chances a little more. just keep checking them often. the more you check on them the more you move the hangers around will keep air moving also.

Yes, i did. the ONLY change i made since page one is I started using fox farms beastie bloomz at four weeks into flowering. but no other changes to soil or lights. not yet, but soon I am going to get a blackstar or ISIS light. then I will remove the CFL's and be 100% led.
Thanks KMK!! that is a sweet camera... the best part is it has wifi. so as soon I take the pictures i send them to my PC... by the time i get upstairs to my office they are already opened on my PC.

by the way, the closet drying situation is that the two true airs that i used for the box are shooting air up toward the buds that are hanging on hangers above the box. the air flow from that is pretty minimal, the buds don't sway at all. but i feel like it's about right. rh is at 40 steady, temps in the mid 60s, i keep the closet door 1/4 open. you think it could use another fan? it would be super easy to set up one.
sorry if i'm rambling... scissor hash ball is being very good to me right now
and to join the other convo, if i ended up going led, what do you think the minimum watts would be if i wanted to use just led (no cfls) for two plants? i'm starting to think already

It's always better to be safe!!! especially since you spent months and months of caring for them!!
your conditions are textbook perfect!!!! you should have no problems at all!! i know i got my fingers crossed for ya!!!
as for the light, one just like mine would be perfect for your situation! something with a few bands, around 120 watts... make sure it has 660nm of red. that is very important for flowering.... you could get something good for about $250. if you had a little extra you could get a 180W panel with 3W diodes and that is equivalent of a 400W HPS. only they last for 10 years!

. what is the heat output like of a 120w? like, compared to 120w of cfls? i know that lumens-wise, the led would be way more efficient than 120w of cfls, but i'm just thinking about heat. that was an issue this grow. need to improve ventilation also lol. man, this scissor hash.

the heat is almost non existent. mine maybe raises the temp up about 5 degrees. the only reason i have an exhaust fan is because of the CFL's. before the cfls i just left the door open with a fan in front.
and didn't i tell ya, scissor hash vape'd is the tip of the year!?!?!?!!?
