damn im jealous. Wish i had that much room to grow. They are looking nice, keep it up. I'll keep looking here if you keep posting
Thanks Jboard. I think my first indoor grow grow will be a huge success by the looks of my plants 18 days in, but these forums seem kinda dead. Getting only 3 members to post in my first indoor grow. I'm sure they'll be more when flowering comes around!

I'll post an update later tonight

Looks like my new timer didn't turn my lights on and they had a very long dark period and the new leaves look yellowish/lime green.

I also made the mistake of watering with nutes for back to back waterings but it was only at 1/4 strength of fox farm big bloom.

So I'm not sure if the plants used up a lot of there energy during the dark period to produce new growth and that's what made it lime green?

Let me know what you guys think

yeah I was just considering new growth and room issues, I will LST once I transplant into 5 gal. containers. I'm also expecting 50/50 chance of a male, but I still pray for 4 females even though I might not be able to fit them all. I will be getting 2 CFL 42w light for side lighting.

i honestly think the containers you have them in now will be fine unless you really want massive plants because i have seen guys get a ounce from a party cup plant haha its amazing sweet mary really is a wonder W.e.e.d. lol

I would, but I can see white roots starting to appear out of the drainage holes.

go with the 5 gal thos eparty cup grows are for clones and arent as easy as it seems, 5 gal is good for flower, or even three if plant is smaller, and if u do decide to lst check out my lst thread below in the link, its all about lst, and if u got any q's on it just ask their and u will be answered

Thanks KingDavid

I'll post an update tomorrow. I'll be transplanting all of these plants into 5 gal. pots. I can see roots coming out of the bottom already. Do you guys untangle the roots at the bottom so they don't become rootbound? I transplanted my biggest plant and his roots with growing along the bottom of the plant and it doesn't seem as healthy as before

Very nice Tib. Glad to hear the transplant went well. I was also thinking about using CFL's for some side lighting. Dont know much about them tho. are they seeming to help at all?

They do seem to help but you have to keep rotating them so all the sides get extra light. I think some 42w CFL's would be ideal for side lighting two plants. 26w looks to be only good for one plant.

Update coming soon......

My roommate found my plants....I wonder what went through his head when he saw a fully operational illegal grow in a 2X4 closet. I'm surprised he's cool with it until they finish. Let's go Superstrains make me happy

I'll hit 30 days tomorrow and I now have 3 of my plantsin 5 gal. containers and 1 of my plants in a 10 gal. container. I have a good feeling about the 10 gal. container plant being female. I will induce 12/12 on Friday February 26 and hope for 4 females! two of my plants are 17" tall and the other two are 13" mainly because I left them in 2 gal. containers. When I transplanted my last two they were hugging the walls with their roots. Always check the bottom of the plant for roots.

Thanks for the support so far, the few members that have commented! Time to go bongsmilie and

Enjoy!

A word of advice to FFOF users, from my grow I found that using the soil without any nutes at all works best. I gave my plants a little bit of big bloom and you can tell by the tips of my plant that it burned them. FFOF has enough in it to last all the way through the vegetative state.

For flowering I have yet to tell but I'm sure I'll be adding a little bit of flowering nutes just to get some nice fat juicy buds that make your mouth water. :weed:

your container is too large for the plants, the idea pot size for seedlings and clones are 4 inches. 4 inch pot should be enough for the first few weeks, after that you should transplant. Wait for the sprout leaves to fall off and then transplant to a 2-3 gallon pot.
