So im on my 2nd grow and again i am encounter foxtailing, late in flowering.
400w hps
3x3x6 tent
1 Random bag seed - 6gal pot FFOF w/ perlite - Scrogged
Im about to be hitting about week 8 of flowering and every bud but a few are beginning to foxtail. it wasnt too bad the past week but today upon opening my tent my main cola was stretching fairly hard of the few tails. Im actually contemplating clipping them.
As said, this is my second grow. On my first grow i started with Botanicare Pro Grow and Bloom, and then switched to Tiger Bloom half way thru, and during my first grow 1 plant of 4 foxtailed pretty bad as well ( also hermied with few nanners but clipped any daily )
Botainare = 2-3-5
Tigerbloom = 2-8-4
I feel as maybe that is too much P this late in flowering and i should of eased up a bit? Feed schedule was every other watering with 3tps/1gal w/ 5ml calmag.
Anyone else encounter this issue while using Tiger Bloom as well? Ive read up on foxtailing and i know it comes down to genetics, heat stress, or ive read possible feeding stress. I just feel like this isnt genetic as its doing the same as my last grow at about the same time. Last time caused me to cut down too early and plants where junk. This plant is still clear to maybe a tad cloudy. so im feeling like im going to need 10-12 weeks and she could tail real hard by then.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
Much love!
