How are you measuring your temps?

20 inch is close for 943w , I would be at 24"

I would get yourself a cheap light meter.
Defo light stressed all the way through.

I agree its a powerful light! I run mine in a 5X5 tent with a 6 inch Active Air exhaust fan and 16 inch Phresh filter running about 1/3rd. Two small pole fans and use a cheap Vivosun 6 inch fan as an intake fan when needed and can usually keep the in tent temps right around 9-11 degrees warmer than room temp. Right now being summer and I don't have central ac, and I run during the day, I have my portable ac set at 75 and my intake fan on low and keep the tent a steady 84f.

Already so i think i have my shit together now, seriously underestimated this light on the first run i have 3 super skunk clones , 1 cali dream from seed , 1 gsce from seed , and a gold leaf from seed. About 2 months veg maybe 2 1/2. Light is about 22 in away from biggest plant. Light is running at about 30 percent. 82 is the hottest it has been getting so still have some play room to turn her up. 20200715_091327.jpg20200715_091302.jpg

Looking good.
i love my timber. But took me a few runs to realize how powerful they are.

glad you are able to control the heat. When I switched to cobs. I wanted to really beat the heat. I mounted my drivers and heat sinks inside a old HID aircooled hood. I can run all summer now no ac.
