Yes. One 48V Cc driver. You can go for 600w but 480 would be enough. Or you could do it with 2 or 3 inorder to better dial in even cover. These boards are so large (900x280 mm) that you dont need a heatsink up to 200w.
Drawbacks: such a big fixture might restrict airflow a bit, from down to up. Better leave a couple of inches in between. Also, hanging: 4 points hanging, might be hard to raise and lower if you can only open the tent on one side. Ideally youd need to be able to open 2 opposing sides. Or some other clever way with 4points going into one central chain.
As with any fixture where the concentration of diodes isnt higher around the edges you may have some hotspotting in the middle. But that would be the same for almost any fixture, especially the spectrum king, or any hid/bulb like design and even 2 es300 but less so. Have a look at chinese knock off board thread for more info, several builds and ideas.
Also youd be buying from china so shipping and customs would be maybe 200$ and some dont wanna have to import stuff thru customs in case there is questions.
If you want perfect go Amare. But its aabit more power to run, but also you could probably upgrade to a 5x5 without changing the light.
If you want pretty f---in close to perfect and a lot cheaper china boards is a good option. Boards are about 80$ each.
Its reasonable to doubt the diodes are top bin, i dont know but ive seen the result and its more than good enough, even using lm561c. HLG550 is another great alternative, best diodes you can get with excellent made in america cust service. Also you would be supporting a company that came outa this forum. But: you would get 4x288 diodes. The china boards will give you 2400 diodes, so you run them at half power which more or less makes up for the difference in efficiency.
