I didn't. The Timber provides more light but also costs more. I pointed out the cost would be similar to buy five 550s. You need to do an analysis of cost -vs- PPF, how much PPF you will get for X number of units and how much for each brand you will pay per PPF.

So Timber is the best
Why they dont build a 900w quatum that would be nice for a side by side 5'×5'

Bigger, but best is a more nuanced conclusion I didn't make. The QBs seems to be a little more efficient, 2.28 umol/j -vs- 2 umol/j

Depends on what you consider best to be.
Yes but the issue with QB is that is only 510 watts compare to faty 900watts

I think the fatty cs win for the size of my room 1800 umol/s

But the quantum is better on the electric to umol/s
If it was a quantum 900w it would produce 2045 umol/s that will be nice

Ill choose faty if my 2 no mame amazone white epistar cob 200w dont beat the 2 timber model2 cv lol .I wish they win but i already no they wont !
100 $can 200w 4 epistar 2'×2' covering at 18" they suppose to be 927 umol/s
For 400$ I can cover 4'×4'

shit man, all the talk of buying some serious gear and you buy the amazon shit haha...you could build some serious led strip rigs for half the price of those units but if you are set in buying premade I’d say buy one of each one or two of each if money is no worries.

Timber model 2cv 2 × 200w

I bought 2 unit of both .but i receive the amazon toy next day !

Stay away from the Epistar crap. Rahz knows his shit Makes real good lights from what I hear.

I personally use high end COBs and Quantums and feel that I get a little more penetration from the COBs but higher yields from the Q boards (due to the spread).

I don't think you can go wrong with either light.

Also depends on canopy penetration needs. I run both cxb and QB. Both are awesome. Different applications and grow styles
