Time for flowering??

you can pretty much flower any time after the first month of the plants life. just depends on how big you want it.

I'm on day 29 of veg and they are decent size ... Idk if I should wait till they are a certain height??

Im growing under a 600watt metal halide and will go to how for flowering in a grow tent in soil

Temperature has steadily been 75 humidity 60-65

They are in 3gallon smart pots

I'm using the full line of fox farm - big bloom tiger bloom grow big kangaroo roots microbe caching beastie bloom and two others .. Also checking PH and using foliage spray and cal-mag

If this help ell me when to start flower ... I'm hoping anywhere from 2+ oz of each plant

well you shouldnt have any problem getting 2+ oz each plant. as for size its up to you. you can grow them short and fast or let them veg longer and get a little more bud. choice is yours, bud more often or more bud every harvest but waiting longer till harvest. if you changed the light time to 12 hours now you should still get 2+ oz with a 600 watt light as long as your doing everything right. sounds like you got it under control though.

That's awesome news... I was thinking of switching to a 1000 watt hps for flower.... Would that produce 4+oz per plant? I have 8 growing and the tent is 55x55x79 so decent space....

Also have a T5 in there and 4 cfls

well 1000 watt would definitely give you bigger buds but im not sure how much by weight. i hear you really should try to resist the urge to trim the fan leafs. they create sugars that help build bigger buds. so by cutting them you COULD be decreasing your yield. i didnt trim at all in my last grow with 4 white widows and they came out awesome!

its up to you. more light is better but also brings more heat. are you going to be able to vent the extra heat out and maintain your temps? thats the real question

I have decent ventilation also have an AC in the room to help drop temps if needed. Also have humidifiers and dehumidifies

Just to double check ... Humidity is supposed to be 45% during flowering,???

all depends on the set up and what the grower wants. you can veg the plant anywhere from like a foot to 10 feet tall before flowering if you wanted lol. i personally am just leaving my lights on 12/12 for veg and flower and the plants grow about a foot and start flowering, then end up around 3 feet tall when done. its the fastest way to grow one, 12/12 from a seed to harvest

I veg for 4 weeks and average 3oz per plant (depends on strain) under a 600w. 6 plants is MAX and pushing it. 4 plants bushed out and LST'd under a 600w is about perfect with a 4 week veg.

Nice yea I have 8 though but in a large space I hope I can pull 3 off all of them that we'd be awesome!!

What is LST though???
