It's a little too late. I'm in Oregon, which has a fairly short growing season. I started mine in May, inside, and moved her outside on the Summer Soltice. I grew her in my 4x4, and had the 1k on her at the end, to help her get used to the sun. No need for shade this year, as we had a couple weeks of overcast and sprinkles.
