Time to Flower! Need help and advice! 1st grow!

Hello there if anyone saw my last post a couple of weeks ago my 2 plants (bubble gum and super skunk) were not lookin soo good. But after transplanting and keepin a better water schedule they are flourishing and I think im ready for the nerve wracking flower stage. God I hope at least one is a girl. "fingers crossed" Anyways im in an apt so thats why I only have 2 plants and I think I need to flower now to allow for room cuz ive read that they can 2x in size. My bubble gum is about 12 inches tall and super skunk which is about 4 days older is 14 1/2 inches tall. (see pics) Pic 2 and 4-super skunk Pic 3 - Bubble gum

my questions are:

Whats best way to eliminate odors

How long does flowering usually take or last?

is it neccessary to give nutes during flowering or are you ok without them?

and lastly if someone could just lay it down how flowering goes....someone with experience maybe so I know what im about to get myself into ....thatd be great. Thanks guys if you need more pics or any more info....just holla! :peace:

hey smoker..welcome to the club..flowering usually takes 7-10 weeks..sativas(lanky plants, thin leaves) flower longer..and yes the will double or even triple in size..i dont find flowering 'nerve wracking', its actually highly trewarding time..u can see buds getting bigger every day..its fun..nutes are not necessary but highly recommended..but go light with them at the beginning and gradually increase the dose..

Eliminate odors - carbon scrubber...there are diy's all over the net.
For your strains (depending on breeder) you will be looking at about 8 weeks, somewhere between 7 and 10 definitely like my man meathook says. The bubblegum shouldn't stretch too awful much, but you are gonna have trouble maintaining a canopy with that super skunk.....I would recommend some LST pronto. You will also definitely need nutes during flowering. More than in veg, just P instead of N.

Flowering can last any where from 7-10 weeks usually. When you do flower you can expect the smell of the plants to increase dramitcally around the third week. By that time you will need either a carbon scrubber or filter. Which a Carbon scrubber is basicaly a tube that has a forced induction from the exhaust of your system. The smelly are is pushed through the filter, and activated carbon "scrubs" the air clean. IT really works and many commercial growers use them.
LST stands for low stress training. it concist of tying, or pinning the stems of the plant down. after a few hours the growth shoot will have already turned towards the light. It is very effective at creating a canopy, and reducing the height of the plant and increasing the yield.
As far as nutes go I would use a 10-30-20 or something simmilar during flowering. Then flush with plain water during the last 3 days before the harvest.

i would only flush it 7-10 days b4 the harvest..but if u use real organic nutes u dony have to flush at all..

Who's bubble gum are you running? You might get that in 7 weeks if you leave some clear trichs, I can't remember if Serious or Nirvana goes longer, but one of them takes a week longer to get to the same point. I think the skunk will be pushing into the 10 range if you go for 50% amber (what I would recommend).

Oh and somebody should have mentioned that the bubble gum gets stinky! So do get some odor control!
