Time to Harvest?

Well, My baby is almost done... I think. She is 5 months old from seed, and has been flowering since the first week of June. She stopped growing about 4 weeks ago and the nugs have stayed approximately the same size for the last few weeks. I checked the trichomes under a jewlers loop, and they are definitely cloudy. And as you can see, the majority of her hairs have turned orange. I'm thinking it is time to go ahead and harvest her. What do you guys think?

Her name is Kim... (Named after the dirtiest, smelliest skank Ive ever known. Lol)

very nice but don't judge the hairs it's the trichs and if you want a head high cloudy is what you want but I would IMHO wait for some amber about 30% and then flush if you haven't done that and finish it out maybe some darkness prior to and let them eat every bit of nutes and stop the watering so it'll dry out faster and cure them you can find info on here will make good smoke if you do it right.........wait ....wait

i started the flush yesterday, higher amounts of CBD would be preferable...and from what I read on here, the more amber trich's, the more CBD the girl has... I figure i will give her a few more days and see what she does... thanks for the advice smoking58 :D

It looks like close to 85% of the hairs have turned orange....should this make any difference?

Anyone else have anything to share? I could really use the feedback :D

3 or 4 weeks. Your plants not started its final growth spurt that happens towards the end when the buds add most of their mass and density. Good job on the plant. Imo alot of people harvest a few weeks too early bc they beleive the plants finished because the buds havent done much for a while, especially newer growers(no offense to anyone meant). in your case since youve said the trichs are still all cloudy your buds have some swelling up to do still.

Thanks for the feedback. Now that I look a little closer, the trich's seem MUCH smaller than my last grow and as I looked over the rest of the plant, it seems as though the trich's are more clear than they are cloudy. I guess the only thing that is worrying me is the fact that the hairs have mostly all turned orange already :(

As many people already said don't judge by the hair. And even if you did yours clearly has many immature white ones. Wait till your trichomes are ALL cloudy and you have around 30% amber. It looks like this plant has at least 1-2 more weeks. If you have started flowering in early June that puts you around 10 weeks of flowering. If the strain is a Sativa you will need a minimum of 12. My last sativa strain had flowered for 14 weeks and still got very few, close to none amber trichs but ALL were cloudy. But I prefer it that way and it seems you are more of an indica kinda guy! ;)

Very very true. I thought I was smarter than the common-noob, but still somehow managed to harvest my first baby early... Lesson learned- Im a noob still.
