Timer help!!!

Hi all, i have a 600w dimmable mh hps lumatek ballast with bat wing reflector and 600w appolo mh bulb.

I tried to set up a "Noma 2 plug block heater timer" last night and this morning and tried it on multiple outlets.... when i unplug the light and plug it into the timer the light dosnt come back on. Even after i press the override button to manually turn it on....
Could it be the timer?
I tried the outlet with other applinces and it worked. Pluged the light directly back into the outlet... and volia there was light....

Timer problem? Ballast problem? Outlet problem? Ahhhhh i dont know!! Lol.

What timer would you all recomend? Id love to get a timer i can controll or see info from from anywhere on my android if thats possable. Im going to the city for the afternoon so i can pick one up today...

Go to walmart and buy a 4 dollar analog timer they work great

After trying lots of high tech, expensive digital timers, they always seem to fail on me one way or another. I'm a fan of the simple analog timers. My guess is you have a timer problem.
