Timer issue in early flower stage

My timer didn’t turn my lights back on so my plants will sleep for a little under 24 hours until 5pm again today… is that going to mess my whole crop up? Most forums I’ve read says as long as it’s only a 1 time thing, it won’t mess anything up. Will they be fine?

Extra darkness is fine. Just continue your cycle as normal with the timer corrected.

Have a look at Sonoff Basic Smart Switches. You can control them over WIFI with your phone, Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Perfect timings everytime, they automatically adjust for regional DST, in nearly 2 years of using one to control my lights it has failed to work once. You can set them so you get a notification on your phone when it switches on and off, so you know if it has failed to work. If it does fail to work you can turn it on or off from your phone remotely from anywhere in the world.

Some people even give their plants 24 hours darkness when they flip them to flowering. As others have said, they'll be fine.

That is an interesting idea. I use smart plugs, smart bulbs and switches all around the house. The ones that use the Smart Life (aka Tuya) firmware are a pain in the arse. The system is so unreliable, it often randomly goes down.

The Sonoff switches have been a paragon of reliability, I use them on all sorts of things. The one I use on my flowering tent has failed to operate once, but as I get a notification if it fails to run or switches on/off it is not big deal. Because I got a failed to run notification on my phone I lost less than a couple minutes flower time.

I've a couple of plug n grow and a maxibright mechanical/relay timer I think they're ideal for heavier loads.

I also use digital timers for various applications but not the lights, if I get a power cut the digital won't turn the lights back on.
The mechanical with a battery back up sounds good provided its a relay type and not a contact type.

i quit messing around with the mechanical plug in timers went and got a commercial grade timer for outdoor lights/pool wired it direct from panel box, own circut works great no worries
