Timers for inline fans.

So I've never bothered to have any timers on my inline fans or my oscillating fans, I've always kept them on 24/7. Should I have my inline fans on the same time as my lights since I cool my hoods with the same air being pulled from the carbon filter? Or should I have a separate fan for my carbon filter which would be 24/7? I have two inline fans, one pulling fresh air in and one pulling fresh our out, should I have them on all the time?

one puling all the time

if it too much noise.

hook up a fan speed controller.. you can just get light dimmer switch, simple wiring and you got it done

Dimmers are not for speed controlling motors. Totally different animal.

As far as running the fans, you want to keep air circulating with lights out to prevent humidity issues.

Get a cheap speed controller.
Don't fuck with electric unless your Stallone Provolone over here. LOL.

And for that Oil in your avatar, you should purge it more.. I see bubbles(butane).

Does anyone make a thermostat for a fan? Come to think of it, a fan thermostat would have to be set up backwards or when it cools off the fan will come on cooling it even more.
