timming for aero pumps?

Timming for timmers on aero pumps....

I just built an Aero system and can't seem to find any good info and pump times..... i got a 5sec-30min on/ 5min-8h off......

I kinda jumped into this head first, using a 15/15 min on/off timer right now.....

What are the best intervals?

nice diy system , looks just like an aquamist, anyway back timming this is a touchy subject ,whats your medium and how fast will it dry which is how I control their feedings
for me I go 20sec/30min off , but there are people that are 24/7 plant preference too I guess

LOL, ya, i know, i wuz trying to get 6" tubes but got a deal on 12" deep Rez's.... they spray the roots and drain to a seperate rez below, same idea just dif Container....

as for a Medeium...... they are clones in 31/2" Net pots with Neoprean Plugs and nothing else!..... going SOG so i don't need to worry bout hight, they gonna be small, the roots will fill the pot's and then have 12" to grow down and about 6" around.......

C.A.P. has pre-set timers, 1min ON -4min OFF.3min On-5min Off, they are about $60. I ran my aero cloner 15min ON 30min OFF with decent results(after the hole in the stem is plugged), the biggest prob is water temp. Having 1min ON & 4min OFF would be Ideal. Change out the water more frequent if the pump is warming the water, but the timer would be well worth it.
