Tin foil - White paint...Which is better?

anyone what do u guys think i should do with my light hang them above the plants or leave them the way the are.

is it better to just hang the lights over the plants. or i have a peace of cardboard that is covered in tinfoil and then i cut holes to hang the light through so the light just reflects down and hits the plants.
should i leave it like this of just get rid of the cardboard and hang them.

I grabbed a roll of aluminum flashing from a home improvement store. Made one out of that. If you want, you can polish it to a mirror finish. (thats a great stoned task! wax on, wax off)
You can cut it with regular scissors, give it a crease or 2 to ad rigidity

DO NOT USE FOIL!!!!! i killed my plant in one night burnt it to a crisp all because of foil =( never going to make that mistake again

white paint tin foil creates hot spots and burn plant get mylar if possible its best...it and white paint are hand in hand as ii would ssay

i have the wall swhite paint. and i took a board and cut some holes in it and put lights through one side and covered it in tinfoil so the light goes down at the plants.
