Tincture to Infusion

If it is already decarbed it doesn't have to be that hot. The EC will evaporate at around 170. You only go for the 242 if you want to decarb now. I find this to be better than decarbing the weed first because when you do it in the oven there is always a little dought.

The Pain Rub: So simple you won't believe it.

1 Cup of infused coconut oil - what ever % you like. I use 1 Gram of RSO per cup. This works well for sore joints. Use more or less depending on what you need.

1 TBS DSMO. The DMSO I use is 99.995% pure Pharma Grade 70%/30% loe vera gel. The Aloe acts as a subfacrent to help the DMSO mix with the coconut oil.

1 TBS Lecithin

Let the mixture come close to setting up in the frig and then whisk it to a smooth, creamy texture abd store in a cool place. It will probablly melt and just look like oil, but that's OK.


Important: BE CLEAN when you use DMSO. I carries the THC, CBD and oils into your skin. IT CAN ALSO CARRY BACTERIA.

This stuff works almost instantly, maybe 2 or 3 minutes at the most to start working. It's the best sore joints.

Sous vide, eh? Maybe u can help me out, please? My thing is to get a tincture that works with
no smell. I mean NO SMELL at all. So i tried two methods, neither of which worked. They are
as follows:

First Tincture: 2-27-22:

RSO+GO, Original RSO Shatter
100% Alcohol Extracted full Spectrum Oil
Lemon Haze | 1g1@$25.00
THC 68.37%, CBD 0.20%, Total 81.31%

I used .6 cc RSO X 5.6 cc alcohol.
Dissolved in well with stir stick.
It amounted to 8 ea. 1.0 cc eyedroppers
of about .7cc ea with old Everclear from
current nug solution. Then I used about
.6 cc RSO from syringe. I'm to add H20
in the AM to equal about half of the vial,
which should equal about 9 ea. .7cc servings.

I tasted it without adding H20, and felt like my tongue was going to burn off from the bottom up.
And I've drank plenty of everclear in the old days, no problem, other than i got drunk as hell, then i had a problem.
But an eyedropper under the tongue was excruciating. So i added the H20, took a couple droppers full, and it was
tolerable, but there was no high. I should add that the RSO was from a commercial
dispensary. I think i still have the rest of the RSO stashed somewhere. Plus I have the
remains of this first tincture which has gone untested since that day. If I remember I
used the RSO because it said it was "Pre decarbed", but I'm not for sure about that.

I'm beat, so i'll add more later, about the nug I tried and about some shatter that i'd like to try.

Well I’ve never done small batches like that, usually a few oz at a time. I decarb either sous vide, or now more often in a pressure cooker, very little smell, I think there is always a little but it is contained in the room, nothing overwhelming. Then I freeze the bud and alcohol overnight, mix and shake, let sit for 15 minutes in the freezer, shake a bit and strain through fine filters or a coffee filter will do. Look up green dragon for more on the method. You could also use a magic butter machine or similar. Then I extract the alcohol off and you have hash oil. Do what you want, make cookies, gummies, place under the tongue, add butter for canna butter or coconut oil, etc. it’s very strong, use caution, a couple drops is all you need. To limit the alcohol taste just mix with coco oil the put under the tongue, or use oil rather than alcohol in the first place. You get better extraction with alcohol though. Any of the above can be explained in depth with a quick search.

TY hookdaddy, much appreciated. Now again, this is sublingual tincture usage and not
an edible. I know what edibles do, take forever to get high, and then once you do, you
wish you had not because you stay high for way too long. I wonder, as you say, that
alcohol gives a better extraction, which seems to make sense. So, it would stand to
reason that alcohol would give you a better tincture which would absorb much faster
under the tongue, than say a coconut or MCT oil would. Another thing about flavor is
use mint or cinnamon oil to flavor your tincture. I really appreciate your process, tho
i gotta say, mine was absolutely odorless. And like i say i can't have any odor in this
house. See, my wife's got COPD and really she cannot continue to smoke it anymore.
If I can just get a tincture to work somehow.

I put you on follow, hookdaddy, along with a few other members who also said that they
use tincture. Maybe somehow we could start our own thread or something. I've been
working on getting a good tincture either buy it or make it for years now with no good
result at all.

Well first the smell from sous vide or pressure cooker decarb I got is nothing like that from smoking. Just a very slight odor, no smoke. No more than putting a bud on the counter and walking away, you can smell it, not obtrusive. Unless it’s fire, then you smell it a bit. Also there are better solvents than alcohol such as butane, just more costly and dangerous, I would stick to oils or alcohol to start, and read up. It’s easy to do but does take a bit of knowledge first.

Hey, thanks for coming back hookdaddy. You would not believe how conscientious i am
about the smell. Now we roll up a doob and smoke it every night. They come in tubes,
all my doobs are in tubes, nothing is out, ever. I have tubes for stems, a tube for roaches,
everything is in its own container and sealed. Nothing is not at least single bagged and or
packaged. I put packages inside bags, and it STILL smells in here, faintly but believe me a
non smoker will probably smell it from the damn street (sorry i exaggerate here). But i am
really obsessive about the smell. I do not want to be judged by people one way or the other.
I really think my way of product inside mason jar, mason jar inside boil bag, and then decarbed
is best, unless it does not decarb that way, tho i have read that it does. And again, it didn't
work for me, so there's that. Look, i even bought this gadget for 135 bucks, it's called the 420
Activator, but i never even tried it because after i got it i knew it'd stink. Here is a link to it:


Now it sits in the garage, all repackaged up and a waste of space (and money, don't forget money...:SIGH.


And yeah, no, NO WAY i'm gonna play with butane. I don't even cook with alcohol. Everything i've done so far
is only water. And after decarbing and cooling i mix in alcohol, shake strain and serve (to no effect, whatsoever).

I gotta warn you and the others who I followed here, that I'm drafting a PM to all of you containing a LOT of
info on the products and process that I undertook. I've only tried this two times so far, once with an RSO dissolved
into the 190 proof Everclear and one time when I took the gram nug and decarbed it in the mason jar, bag, and
water. Neither of which worked.

Also in my looking tonight i did find an email i sent (it was unanswered) to a store sales person about one type
of extract that i had told them worked. It's got some kind of passion fruit label on it or something. I'll send info on
it to you all in the PM i'm drafting. I really appreciate your interest and help, believe me, i really do. So please don't let
what might seem to be my rudeness dissuade you from trying to help. This has GOT TO WORK, somehow!
