Tiny white flies.... holes in leaves??

Something ate one of my plants up pretty bad, so I started keeping an eye out for bugs. My plants are in FFOF indoors. I discovered tons of white flies when I hit my plants hard with a fan, they came flying out like a cloud. I also noticed that they are in the soil, if I stir the soil up, the come flying out like tiny white specks. I cant really see em up close, they are extremely small like particles of dust.. but I assume they are whiteflies. I bought some azamax today and mixed 1 tsp to a quart of water and sprayed the hell out of the plants. The bugs are still there of course, and plenty of them are coming out of the soil. I have not seen anything on the web yet about whiteflies actually chewing holes in leaves, but my leaves have holes (pic attached) What else can I do to get rid of these bastards?? Can I drench the soil with the azamax? if so, how much should I use?

Not sure if this will help, but i noticed a few holes in one of my girls a few days before she got spidermites.. check the undersides of the leaves for tiny tiny black specks, or any thin webbing around the nugs and leaves.. goddluck buddy hope you dont got the mites.
