I know thats bmeats plant, but wtf is that, its budding, yet has rounded leaves. Did he buy a quad and super glue some leaves to it? Im not joking what did he do to it lol?
Here's the explanation that came with the pic in the orig. thread......

LOL stop shes been through a lot for no real reason.
all past veg staged have been stunted due to chemical ferts and
overwatering and root rot. one of the girls gave up one night.
the other one stuck out the abuse, and the product is what you see above
lol. a burnt up flowering nub. i wish i knew what family it was from.
they were two random bagseed that i found.
she used to be ok right after the flush and i smartened up,
but i ended up decapitating it :/ can anyone tell the family its from?
def sativa, yeah? i told you i was so drunk and angry that night that
i couldnt get it with tape, so i glued it and it died REAL quick from
that posion lol. shoulda just stuck it in the ground..stupid. oh well,
not a permanent scar in life.
this is my basil. its nicer

If you didn't know, bmeat is a scientist who specializes in splicing genes and he managed to reconstruct a cannabis plant's genetics and spliced in a rubber plant into it. Oh, and he managed to cross it with a basil plant.
And it MAY have also gotten pollenated by the Tomato plant he had in there trying to hide the smell from mommy.

u just dont c it because u dont know......it doesnt look terrible and i dont want to discourage u ........but your plants too dark... your pics aint great but i do c burn on the bottom most tip furthest to the right in the first pic.........im sure there is more

It is HIS plant, let him do what he wants.
MAYBE he's feeding it like I did mine.
I fed mine almost to the point of an OD until shortly after the flip, and was happy with the results.

OMFG....I never saw this before....This just made him so much fucking funnier.....
You know in the quotes, you can click the blue double arrows, and go back to the orig. thread that it was taken from...........
I got a couple links too if you want, just let me know.

Or do u even have any plants?
Lol....I keep telling yall this idiot hasn't even completed a grow. You'd think he'd want to show some proof that MG is so bad. It's so blatantly obvious he's affiliated in some way with a hydro shop or nutrient co. of some kind. I agree.......stop feeding this troll and lets get on with the discussion. 15+ pages of bickering with an obvious moron is not acceptable imo.

No... He's just stupid.
It's as simple as that. There's no other explanation as to why he's like this. Unless he's a prepubescent 15 year old girl, like bmeat.

Most of these people that vehemently avoid anything are generally just folks that have taken the word of other people. Calling them shills for competing interests is a bit of a stretch. People seem to equate "not perfectly suited for the task" to "won't work, and it's the devil!". Not going to lie, I've been on the wrong end of that before myself. He'll come around, or he's just a troll here for his own amusement. Either way, you're right. Everything that can be said, has been said; no need to further engage him. The point has been pretty solidly made that MG is not going to wreck your grow if you use it right. It's kind of like how people freak about tin foil in a 200w CFL box. Your plants won't start getting burned from that, but it holds heat well so you have to be aware of the risks. A good mechanic can make things happen with less-than-ideal tools that a new mechanic wouldn't begin to think of. It's all about knowing what you're working with and adjusting accordingly.

What exactly do you think organic material is? Wood chips most certainly falls under being organic . Plus they aid in aeration, moisture retention and add nutrients to the medium as they break down.
Not trying to pick a bone with you supertramp just looking for clarification. Im subbed to your thinking like grandma grow and think you are doing awesome with that setup you got. my question is about the wood chips, I was just at a seminar this weekend about enlivening your raised soil beds, and this lady who was speaking (had an immaculate garden, not mj tho..) said that having woody undecomposed material in your medium makes it pull nitrogen from the soil so it can decompose?? Do you know anything to this effect. Thought I would ask you since you seem pretty knowledgeable and like what you are doing in your thread.
And to everyone who treats MG like poison it is if you drown your plants, pretty sure it says on the bag to allow for a proper wet dry cycle to occur before watering again, prob is you get all these noobs over loving their plants with water and blame it on the slow release ferts as it should but for their stupidity not the manufacturer. Though there can be incosistencies just as with any high volume producing soil, all part of the game. I use FFof and can tell you if you drown fresh seedlings in that they will look just like they do in mg...
Oh and woody I liked you better when you were ripping on thinbaggy, do not let the hate spill over man...

Number 1 mistake new growers make: Over-watering.

Nice and healthy in MG MC Soil. For size reference on these buds, some are over 6" long and are bulking up daily. The plant on the right had to be staked because the heavy buds were tipping the plant.

Well that proves another point, if you had not been using MG your plants would have developed a nice strong stem that could support itself.

;-) Just kidding, they look great.

Thanks! I was warned this problem might happen with the topping technique I used on the sativa, creating 4 colas instead of 1. The plant on the right is a sativa, and the stem structure is different than the indica, which is growing on the left side. Sativa's are stretchers, and if I hadn't topped this girl, she would out-grow my closet. Last grow, she was over 5 feet tall and I fought to keep her under control, so I was ready with the clippers this time!

It is true, decomposing wood chips do pull nitrogen from your soil. N is an element that actually evaporates and washes out unless it gets fixed in your soil be certain bacteria.
