Wait... are you running 24 hours around the clock but switching from CFL to HPS every 12 hours? Interesting. You definitely have plenty of light. Everything I read says 18/6 is the way to go because you don't get much more yield running 24 hrs/day. If you're only running the lights 12 hours total, I could see that making them take way longer than a few weeks to flower.
there is a chemical build up that lets the plant know to flower if the plant is hurt aka topped the plant focuses on repair and not producing this chemical starts with a F i think cant remember off the top of my head after repair it gets back to normal
setting you back 2 weeks heavy lst branches laid sideways the plant is re adjusting bud sites to go up
spending energy that would also be put towards preparing to flower so just that could delay a few weeks
so your 4 week veg just hit 6 with just topping
add some aggressive training and you have a 7 week veg and a 12 week total roughly
once flower starts there is no use in delaying anything just let it go
the strain choice for my breeding experiment is going to be " a little kushy " purple haze #1 and a lafrutta di venus
going to cross both with purple haze until i get a auto then stabilize the pretty one
this purple haze pheno i have is grape soda during flower hope to pass it along and hopefully get offspring that grows a bit faster
this run is a fem crop of la frutta di venus selfed and then also crossed with afghan kush ryder
then pollen will be saved for the next run of kushy's and purple haze
then party cup breeding after that
