Tips of some leaves going brown/dying at 7 weeks...

Been feeding Baby Bio for the last 2 weeks whilst watering every other day - just put them into 12/12 today...a couple of the leaves appear to be dying at the ends, only been progressing the last couple days - at 7 weeks is it likely nute burn or is it just normal? The top leaves on one of them seem to be getting slightly speckly as well...should I skip the nutes for a couple waters to see what happens? :?

Sounds like what i had, look for a thread titled "leaf based problem i cant identify" and tell me if the pics look similar.

I never did 100% get to the bottom of causing it but a combined cutting out of the baby bio and daily soap solution spraying halted the problem within a day or two, i dont know what it is about baby bio but my potted ones hate it whilst the ones in the garden dont seem to mind.

Im flowering now on a mix of comfrey and molasses and they bloody love it.

Not that kind of thing really - mines just the ends of the leaves dying really...and little yellow/white dots on the upper leaves - just fed them today as well - I'll try not feeding them next time and see if they perk up, for the flowering I'm just planning on using the guidelines on the pack of seeds and I'll cut in about 1.5-2 months so i'm not too worried really...MAYBE I'm not worried enough but I'll see what they're like after less nutes for the time being!

i have a similar issue with one of my potted plants, yellowing spots and burned edges on the outer parts of the leaves.

i figured nutrient burns, so i been flushing out with water the past 4 watering times. thats two days ago, and i still cant see a positive reaction.

i just tested the ph in the soil, and to my surprise the ph is high @ 8.0- this probably explains the chlorosis spots from nutrient deficiency being locked up. but what about the burned brown edges?

i have some 5.0 water i prepped for my rockwool cubes ill be using to water this plant for the next 2 days. would this help or should i do something else??

I'm going through a similar situation. my leaves started turning yellow, with brown tips, a few weeks in. i figured they were too close to the lights or getting too hot, so i put a fan in, and lifted the lights. no progress. so i figured they weren't getting proper nutrients. i checked the ph in the soil, which was 8. i adjusted the ph of the water, to 5 to balance it out for the next few waterings, but there was no improvement. i checked the soil ph again and it is still 8. the first sets of leaves that grew are all dead now, but new leaves keep growing and seem healthy. but everytime a new set gets big, the one underneath starts getting burned looking edges on the tips of the leaves, starts turning yellow, and eventually dies like the ones below. figured it was from the water having such a low ph resulting in nutrient burn, so i just started using distilled water. and its happening still. i also noticed a few white dots on one leaf. i cant seem to find any help with this exact situation.

Do you have a cat? Make sure it isn't peeing in your plant. I had that problem with some houseplants. I took some chicken wire, cut and bent up a bunch of the links so there are a bunch of spikes sticking up. You then put this on top of the soil of your plant obviously cutting a hole in the center and a line through the material to the center hold for the plant stalk to go into. The second they go to put their paws into the soil they'll get a little jab, it won't cut them, just get their attention.

From then on they will see the metal and just avoid the plant. Worked wonders for me.

yes i do have a cat, but its impossible for him to get to the plants. they're in a blocked off room.

You know man it could be the gentics but some genetics are for an outdoor plant what I mean is some marijuana plants are made for outside growing. So it could be the lights affecting the plant. Or what i think it actually is that if you went from 24 hr lighting and jumped down to 12/12 it is just showing a little stress this is not bad but if it gets worse it could be another reason.

I did just take them off of 24 hr light. didnt jump to 12/12 though, tried to minimize trauma by going 20/4. hoping thats what it is
