Ok, so I got a new pump and chamber and assumed I could just go directly into the chamber with the oil without letting it set out overnight or even an hour. I have been trying to vacuum purge for four days now at temperatures between 85-115 degrees and it's still solid bubbles. It is a very thin layer on a silicone pad, inside the chamber; at least an oz of final product too so this is an emergency!!! Lol.
Is it too late to fix?? Another problem I'm having is that my pumps will not go any deeper than -22.5 hg, or is that a problem??? It is a five gallon chamber and a single stage/3CFM vacuum pump; I also tried my two stage/3CFM pump and it wouldn't get lower than -20 hg...
Thanks for any experienced advice.
