Tips to reduce watering frequency?

But then you risk root bound if the roots cant prune themselves.

She’s not focusing on roots that much this stage in flowering - kinda the transition period.

So not too worried about root bound. Root bound is often not an issue if the grower attends to the plants needs (basically more demanding).

U might be able to carefully put her in a bigger pot. Idk I've done it before and it worked fine but im not sure if it's proper practice .

Sure I could but I don’t really want to go to a 4-5gl pot.

If I can’t keep it in the 3-5 day range this early in flower I’ll transplant.

Hes in flowering, and soil.... To get root bound in soil requires a lot
Even if the plants not putting much of its energy to the roots at this point in its life cycle, I was pointing out that he loses the only reason anyone would pay for an airpot. It becomes essentially a $1 pot.

Roots do grow during flower...

You'll have to keep up with watering, make a irrigation manifold, or transplant to a bigger pot. Even if just a 3 gallon pot would help. I would go with 5 to save you time away from the garden

Only for this run sure. but it wasn’t a waste. This was 17 days ago when I transplanted it.

Sure just not as much as veg though.

She is very bushy inside the canopy so taking a good 20% of her leaf surface area should help.

If it fails then I guess a 5gl pot would work:

cant go any smaller really without it being a faff.

If you use a blumat system, your roots will grow inches above the soil all the way to harvest. Roots certainly grow during flower.
Defoliating 2 weeks into flower would be much the same as a day 21 defoliation; it all will just come back. You'd be in the same situation at week 5. Then what?

Theres no way to cheat it. You need a solution

indeed the solution is more dirt, Not sure how much one can yield using only 2 gal. pots, they are probably starving for root space. @op if you want to use 2 gal. bags you're gonna have to flower earlier when they are alot smaller instead of letting them grow out to avoid this issue. But more dirt=more yield so pot up my bro

They're autos. And that's another thing; the effect on yield with a small pot.
Just carefully transplant and your plant won't even notice. Is what I would do

I didn’t want a big plant so purposefully ‘stunted’ it in a small pot.

Not if I remove branches as well as leaves. Less surface area = less transpiration.

But we’ll see.

I only wanted half an O or so with this strain. She just went mental after the transplant.

Cheers for the help guys!
