Tired of mediocrity...

Every time I grow a batch, it just come out mediocre. Am really frustrated by it.

I grow in 5g pots using ffof.
I use nearly all of the ff nutes (1/2 dose every week)
Am using sf-2000 led's.
I keep my grow room in the 70's.
I dry in a pantry that stays 69 degrees with humidity at about 60%.
I cure in jars at 65% rh, and at 65f.
Seeds all come from weedseedsexpress

What am I doing wrong?!?!?!

If you feel pretty competent with your growing skills, I'd look at your genetics. Genetics matter quite a bit, I would buy a pack of a known quality, worked strain, by a top breeder like Karma. If that turns out bad, then you are doing something wrong, if it turns out amazing, you know it was genetics.

You're frying your plants with too much fertilizer. You don't need all that stuff. Doesn't FF have 14 different bottles of stuff for their feeding schedule? And you're using almost all of them? All that stuff is too much and growing in just a 5 gallon pot all that stuff starts causing problems at the root zone.

You are right. I just sent a friend a request for help. This friend has access to some prized clones. She is going to help me.
If this doesn't work out, then I truly suck at growing.

Wouldnt a smaller amount of soil need more nutes regularly added than say a larger pot of soil would?
Each of the FF nutes has a different function. You dont use them all at once, you use different ones as your plant progresses.

I missed the part about the entire FF line. Patric, you should look into Jack's a/b, it's cheaper than FF and you'll get better results. I think it will snap you out of your rut along with those new clones. Search for the Jack's a + b thread here, that's all you need to grow the best. If you are in Europe, there is a European brand like Jack's, but I forgot the name, maybe Athena? Someone here will know. Good luck!

I'm well aware of the requirements that cannabis needs and it doesn't need a dozen bottles of different stuff. Simple is better.

I’ve grown a lot of herb
My experience with the FF line was horrible
I feel anything that needs additives is just smoke and mirrors
But if you bought it I know you want to use it up
The best I can tell you is use the Ch Ching almost never and the grow/veg one all the way thru
It isn’t really a use this and stop using this thing
It is more of moderation all thru the grow
Shoot for green all the way thru sans boosters

Is this the Jack's you're talking about?

If you’re still struggling AFTER this grow, switch to coco. Feed everyday and adjust as your plant tells you. I’m using GH 3 part but you can get away with just micro and bloom
Kind of scared of that... I have to travel for work sometimes and have to leave my plant care to my daughter. She is moving out next month and I can't trust the Mrs with something so delicate. :(

Yeah then don't. Unless you wanna batch a res and set up and autofeed system - fuck all that lol. I would just simplify all that bullshit you are throwing at your plants and keep it simple. These plants don't need a whole line of additives like that, it's just draining your wallet and giving you subpar results.

Ditch everything but the 3-part. Grow, micros and bloom. Throw the rest of that shit out. Keep it simple and get bud.

Oh and a bottle of low nitrogen cal mag

Yeah, the a + b, but they also call it Jack's 321 because some people use magnesium sulfate in addition to the a + b. Also Megacrop a + b is identical to the Jack's, except for their chelates, so that's an equally good option. I'd just see which I could get a better deal on.

I'm seeing better results with US seed bank genetics...just my 2 cents. All the euro seeds I've gotten seem to be OK. Every supplier here seems to have stronger shit.

I was never that impressed with what I could grow at home until I got some decent lighting. That and growing in natural soil made a huge difference in the quality of the bud. Genetics are also super important; you gotta find what you like first. That takes a bit of trial and error. Not saying to get off the nutes completely but I know there’s much better products available than the FF trio; usually is a jumping off point for most.
