dude just mix your soil previous to planting...nute the soil naturaly, depending on the strength of the nutes depends on how much, and it should tell you. and if you do it right you wont have to amend it until flowering

I have used it for years. Just the summer and fall product. All depends on if you are planting in the ground or in buckets. I use a 1/4 cup per plant in the ground and about half that in a 5 gal pail. DON'T apply till 2 weeks after you plant as it can burn the roots. I apply once (summer blend) in mid may when I start and fall blend at first signs of budding, usually near end of july. Do not apply too close to the base of the stalk.

The main problem I have seen with this product is that people use too much of it. It takes a while for this stuff to break down. Unless you have a very wet season, then you may need to re-apply it. I have never gotten less then a half pound(dry) from any of my plants. Most come in at a pound or more.( growing Pot of Gold, Ole 47,Krinkle)

Hope this helps.

I used Advanced Nutrients for two years and I quickly went back to my Fox Farms roots. Way better pound for pound fertilizer. Advanced Nutrients gets alot of rep because it has a very aggressive marketing and advertising campaign. However results speak other wise. Fox Farms out produces AN and it is somewhat cheaper.

Exactly:clap: I figured I'd try it after last years hype with Brown Dirt. I can grow bigger and better with FF. Maybe it's just me but I think HH sucks myself, too much hype and build up for a product that doesn't deliver.

well,i am frustrated with chem ferts that you have to apply weekly,1 rain and it all gets leached away.i couldnt always make it out to my plot in time and in that time the plants have no food, they were really affected by this!At least with heavy harvest rain and heat activate the ferts so the plants would still get fed better than a weekly applied fert just because of leaching.

I also use a time release from fox farm. It's called Marine Cuisine. I usually mix in at the begining of the season. This year I used it threw all the rain we had here. June rain like 20 days!
